Trotter leaves Selezniak with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Trotter tries to free his leg and advance position but Selezniak is retaining full guard.

Trotter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Selezniak has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trotter has managed to get both his arms back between Selezniak's legs - danger averted.

Trotter had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Selezniak is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Trotter Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Selezniak's back instead.

Niputtaja displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hett throws out the jab.

Niputtaja shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Niputtaja is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hett is surviving well by controlling Niputtaja's body position as best he can.
Hett is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Niputtaja looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Niputtaja seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Hett is holding on tight.
Hett's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Szyslak.
Kelly tries for a takedown but Szyslak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kelly closes the distance and clinches up with Szyslak, looking for a takedown. Kelly pushes Szyslak against the cage but Szyslak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cathal Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly fails to land the takedown.
Nick Szyslak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cathal Kelly.
Szyslak defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kelly.

Szyslak lands the left hand.
Szyslak buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Szyslak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Szyslak lunges at Kelly with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kelly's hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Szyslak as he avoids it easily.
Kelly looks gassed!
Szyslak throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Kelly tumbling to the canvas!

Kelly is rocked!

It looks like Cathal Kelly has been cut.

Szyslak stands up and waves to Kelly to follow him.
A nice leg kick lands there from Szyslak.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Szyslak keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Szyslak closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Kelly out cold! Kelly corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
