The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiirismaa shoots in looking for a takedown. Alves tries to sprawl out of it but Tiirismaa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Alves manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Alves looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Tiirismaa with the active half guard here but Alves passes nicely into side control. Alves wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tiirismaa, who protects the arm well. Alves working away. Tiirismaa tries to improve position but can't. Alves looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tiirismaa gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tiirismaa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Alves counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tiirismaa won't be happy with that. Tiirismaa manages to get back to half guard. Alves wants to work for an arm triangle but Tiirismaa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Alves thows a huge punch but Tiirismaa dodges it nicely.
Alves working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Tiirismaa's thigh. Tiirismaa counters though and makes it back to full guard. Both fighters are looking very determined. Alves tightening his grip on Tiirismaa, looking for the choke. Tiirismaa manages to reverse the position and now he's in Alves's guard. Junior Alves is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Alves wants to control but Tiirismaa is keeping busy and won't allow it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tiirismaa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Riku Tiirismaa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tiirismaa misses with a knee strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belic moves into range and connects with a jab. A head kick misses from Cop. Cop closes this distance looking for a takedown but Belic circles away. Cop lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nice sprawl there from Belic as Cop shoots in. Cop ducks straight into an uppercut from Belic and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Cop maanges to regain guard straight away.
Cop is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Belic drops back looking for a leg! Cop is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cop manages to kick Belic off! Belic jumps back into Cop's guard. Cop on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cop tries to get out of the position. Belic wants to stand but Cop is controlling his posture from full guard. Cop knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belic on the ground.

Belic steps into range and cracks Cop with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Cop flops backwards and Belic dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Cop is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Cro Cop has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Belic advances position into side control! Belic has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Cop seems to have got his legs back now.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Belic knocks Cop out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Dvorak is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Emeliannenko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Emeliannenko has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dvorak clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Emeliannenko working for the choke. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dvorak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dvorak is trying to stand up here but Emeliannenko is controlling him well. Emeliannenko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Drwal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drwal trying to control the position but Hart is working away. Hart wants to get back to his feet. Drwal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hart is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hart is looking to regain half guard here but Drwal keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Atar is working for takedown but Butcherson is calmly controlling the position for now. Butcherson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Atar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Atar can do anything to dispel that myth. Atar wants to get back to his feet but Butcherson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Butcherson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Atar, up you get! Putin scores with a jab to the body. Fantastico with a nice cross. Putin stalks Fantastico and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fantastico's face. Fantastico staggers backwards, shaken. Fantastico moves in looking to clinch but Putin pushes him off. Fantastico clinches. Fantastico lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Putin goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Fantastico in side control.

It looks like Fedor Putin has been cut. Fantastico scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Putin is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Fantastico can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
