Assante kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lose Yourself. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pasty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Phony circles away. Pasty shoots for a double leg takedown but Phony sprawls well. He's pushed Pasty's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Phony gets a clinch. Phony connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Dickson Pasty has been cut. Phony pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Phony paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A big right from Phony misses. Pasty shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Phony as he jumps to the side. Bony Phony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dickson Pasty. Phony looks to land a combination but Pasty avoids it well. Phony tries to clinch up. Pasty tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phony swivels and escapes. Phony works Pasty's body with a nice hook. Pasty looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Pasty showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Phony.
Phony grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Pasty takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Phony cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! XHTC's corner calls for a 1-2. XHTC obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Woods gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows XHTC to score an easy takedown into full guard. Woods will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

This has been an exciting period of action! Woods drops back looking for a leg! XHTC is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and XHTC manages to kick Woods off! Woods jumps back into XHTC's guard. XHTC wants to sweep here but Woods controlling him for the moment.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Woods wanted to stand there but XHTC had control of the position. XHTC avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. XHTC is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meatbrick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Meatbrick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lee waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Meatbrick. Meatbrick shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. Nice shot by The Finisher. Wanhanen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The Finisher misses with a hook. The Finisher throws a lazy right hand but Wanhanen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Wanhanen misses with a wild body shot. Wanhanen throws a head kick that The Finisher semi-blocks.
The Finisher has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Nice jab there from Wanhanen. Wanhanen moves forwards but The Finisher connects with a nice, crisp jab.
