The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Koscheck.
Nice sprawl there from Penn as Koscheck shoots in. Penn keeps the fight on the outside. Penn listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Koscheck displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Penn throws out the jab. Koscheck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Penn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Koscheck pinned against the cage. Koscheck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Penn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Koscheck lands a right hook to the body.
Penn tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Koscheck counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn darts in trying to clinch and Koscheck makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Penn really felt that one! Koscheck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Penn tries to clinch up. Koscheck digs a good body shot into Penn's ribs. Koscheck swings for the body but Penn moves out of range.
Penn throws the left hand but Koscheck avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn tries to clinch up and Koscheck counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Penn is lucky that one didn't land flush. Penn avoids the head kick by Koscheck.
A punch combination from Koscheck misses. Koscheck throws a hook but Penn blocks it. Penn closes the distance looking to clinch and Koscheck holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Koscheck lands with a left to the head. Koscheck tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Koscheck tries to clinch up. Penn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Koscheck. Koscheck misses with a head kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McScared decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Munoz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McScared. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McScared seems to be looking for submissions.
McScared content to control rather than advance. McScared is looking to take a break and control but Munoz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. McScared throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McScared sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Munoz defending well though. McScared is pressing down on Munoz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Munoz is holding on for now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. McScared has Munoz pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. McScared pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Munoz tumbling to the mat - McScared dives into Munoz's guard. Munoz keeping full guard, as McScared tries to pass. McScared wants to stand and escape but instead Munoz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McScared had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Munoz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McScared Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Munoz's back instead. McScared somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. McScared looking for the choke from the back. McScared is breathing heavily. McScared is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Munoz has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. McScared working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McScared thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - McScared's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
McScared is really struggling to control Munoz but he's trying to hold on to the position. Munoz controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McScared has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Munoz covering up well and avoiding damage. McScared has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Munoz! Can he survive? No! He's out! McScared gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

It looks like Izzy Sinclair has been cut. O Leary throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sinclair. O Leary darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sinclair is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sinclair thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Oh Sinclair is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sinclair trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Sinclair seems to have got his legs back now. Sinclair wants to sweep here but O Leary controlling him for the moment. O Leary controls the pace of the fight for a moment. O Leary stops Sinclair from standing up. O Leary wants to control from the top but Sinclair keeps moving. Sinclair wants to stand up but O Leary is controlling him. and Sinclair counters with a lovely straight right hand! O Leary connects with a nice cross there... Sinclair is looking wobbly and O Leary recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sinclair to the canvas, out cold!
