Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicolas Peeters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sima Hui! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peeters dodges the punch combination from Hui.
Peeters lands with a kick to the temple. Hui shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Sima Hui has been cut. Peeters lands a high kick to the side of Hui's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Peeters dives into guard, looking to finish.
Hui is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hui looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Peeters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Peeters wants to stand but Hui has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hui is working an open guard so Peeters takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Peeters throws a head kick but Hui moves out of range.
Hui throws a right and a left that Peeters avoids nicely. Peeters throws a nice outside leg kick. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Peeters - that will leave a mark!
Hui looks gassed! Peeters sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Hui to the ground! Peeters dives into full mount looking to finish! Hui is still in real trouble! Can Peeters finish him?
That has opened up Sima Hui's cut even more. Hui is looking to improve his position but Peeters isn't that keen on the idea. Hui seems to have recovered his senses. Peeters get's back to his feet. A nice leg kick lands there from Peeters. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Peeters! Hui is out on his feet! Peeters rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hui is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hui is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Einhorn takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gee looks for the body kick but Einhorn saw that one coming. Gee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nick Gee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Einhorn shoots in for a takedown but Gee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Einhorn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Einhorn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gee but Gee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gee throws a left that rocks Einhorn and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gee dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Einhorn regain composure!

The fight stays on the outside here - Einhorn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Horrible takedown by Gee or perhaps it was just good defense by Einhorn which made him look bad. Einhorn tries to clinch but Gee is having none of it. Einhorn drives through and clinches with Gee against the cage.

Einhorn has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gee is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Einhorn. Einhorn tries to strike from the bottom but misses. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! VonBrunn throws a nice looking combination but Murray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Murray connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Murray wants to clinch. VonBrunn on the wrong end of a nice hook. VonBrunn throws a sloppy head kick and Murray moves out of range easily. Murray keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A combination from Murray does no damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! VonBrunn throws a hook to the side of Murray's head but Murray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Murray tries to clinch but VonBrunn moves out of range. The fighters circling - Murray throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Murray tries to clinch there but VonBrunn circles away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Murray walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Murray walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. VonBrunn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. VonBrunn walks into a straight right hand from Murray. Murray steps to the side to avoid the strikes from VonBrunn. VonBrunn throws the left hand but Murray avoids the punch easily. VonBrunn throws a looping overhand right but Murray ducks down to avoid it. Murray fails with a takedown attempt. VonBrunn falls off balance throwing a combination
and Murray counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Murray.

An inside leg kick from VonBrunn misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. VonBrunn does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Murray keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from VonBrunn. Murray takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. VonBrunn misses with the combination.

Murray seems to have got his legs back now. VonBrunn trying to control the action but Murray is working from the bottom. Murray is working to avoid the ground and pound but VonBrunn connects with a decent elbow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad. Hunt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hunt off to one side. Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Hunt on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunt feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Hunt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hunt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
