The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues moves away from the strike by Bruno.
A jab from Rodrigues misses.
Bruno connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rodrigues. Rodrigues circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Matheus Rodrigues has been cut.
Bruno throws a right hand that Rodrigues ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodrigues also avoids with ease.
Rodrigues tries to clinch there but Bruno circles away.
Bruno avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rodrigues tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bruno was well out of range. Poor timing from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bruno is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rodrigues.

Bruno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bruno uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rodrigues has time to react.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodrigues fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bruno avoids it really well and circles away.

Bruno uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodrigues.
Rodrigues doesn't manage to clinch there - Bruno circles away.
Rodrigues shoots for a takedown but Bruno saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Rodrigues counters by clinching up.
Rodrigues is pushing Bruno up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Bruno has had enough of the clinch but Rodrigues keeps him there for the moment.

Rodrigues looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bruno lands a right hand from hell, dropping Rodrigues. Bruno pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

I would just about give that final round to Phil Stone.
