The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenny II fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jenny II lands with a slapping head kick. Swoop shoots in but no luck this time. Jenny II fails in his attempt to clinch. Swoop scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jenny II is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Jenny II struggling a bit here. Swoop lands a decent elbow from side control. Swoop throws an elbow but Jenny II slips to the side and avoids it well. Swoop in side control lands a decent elbow. Swoop tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Jenny II is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Swoop has just dragged him back down to the mat. Jenny II managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Swoop.
Sloppy strikes there by Swoop. The strikes coming from Swoop are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Jenny II tries to improve position but can't. Swoop prevents Jenny II from escaping the position. Swoop has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Swoop working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Swoop looks up at the clock and then as Jenny II takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Swoop smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Swoop cracks Jenny II with a big right hand but Jenny II just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jenny II is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenny II is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Oh Jenny II is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Swoop lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Jenny II! Swoop senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Jenny II out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soze looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Brown wants to get back to his feet. Soze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Soze throwing shots but Brown is blocking nicely. Soze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Soze sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brown defending well though. Soze missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Soze looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brown with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soze is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Brown is trying to stand up here but Soze is controlling him well. Brown tries to get to full guard but Soze has control of the leg. Brown desperately trying to maintain half guard. Soze working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Soze sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brown defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is not content to let Soze control the position. Soze slips a nice elbow through Brown's hands, connecting with Brown's forehead. Soze working Brown over with strikes. Soze throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Brown on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Soze trying to pass the guard but Brown defending well. Soze moves nicely into side control. Brown takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Soze scoring with punches and elbows. Soze in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth. Soze landing strikes. Brown is pushing Soze's head away, looking to escape. Soze manages to hold on to the position though. Soze is working Brown over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soze cracks Brown with an elbow. That is naaassty. Brown tries to bench press Soze off him but Soze keeps the position. Soze advances to mount. Soze is landing with some decent strikes but Brown is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Soze connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Brown is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brown takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Soze's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The fighters circling - Enlightener throws out the jab but it was never going to land. El Guapo Bandito Salsas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bandito Salsas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Bandito Salsas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Enlightener paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bandito Salsas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bandito Salsas connects with a nice short shot to Enlightener's temple. Bandito Salsas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Enlightener keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bandito Salsas is nestled in close to Enlightener, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Enlightener has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bandito Salsas is working away from the top position though. Bandito Salsas thows a huge punch but Enlightener dodges it nicely.
Bandito Salsas wants to control but Enlightener is keeping him busy. Bandito Salsas winds up and cracks Enlightener with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bandito Salsas working Enlightener over with strikes.
That has opened up Dante Enlightener's cut even more. Bandito Salsas misses with a head shot. Enlightener uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandito Salsas is in close to Enlightener's body, working some short punches and elbows. Enlightener looking for a sweep. Not yet Enlightener, not yet. Bandito Salsas wants to control from the top but Enlightener keeps moving. Bandito Salsas stopping the sweep attempt from Enlightener. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bandito Salsas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Enlightener preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bandito Salsas's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Enlightener throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Horrible takedown by Bandito Salsas or perhaps it was just good defense by Enlightener which made him look bad. Bandito Salsas shoots for a double leg takedown but Enlightener sprawls well. He's pushed Bandito Salsas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Enlightener shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bandito Salsas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bandito Salsas wants to get back to his feet but Enlightener is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bandito Salsas keeping moving, preventing Enlightener from controlling successfully. Enlightener looks gassed! Bandito Salsas wants to sweep but no luck. Enlightener must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bandito Salsas has momentary wrist control but Enlightener slips an elbow through the middle. Bandito Salsas lands a decent shot there. Bandito Salsas pushes Enlightener off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bandito Salsas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Enlightener tries to clinch up. Enlightener misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bandito Salsas with a poor takedown and Enlightener counters with a left and a right that stings Bandito Salsas. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Guapo Bandito Salsas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bandito Salsas shoots and misses and Enlightener counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bandito Salsas's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bandito Salsas looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bandito Salsas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Enlightener manages to get himself to full guard.
Enlightener is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bandito Salsas content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Guapo Bandito Salsas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dante Enlightener's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bandito Salsas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Enlightener waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Bandito Salsas. Enlightener looks to clinch so Bandito Salsas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bandito Salsas throwing strikes but missing. Bandito Salsas trying to control but Enlightener is working from the bottom. Bandito Salsas landing some decent shots from guard. Bandito Salsas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bandito Salsas is in close to Enlightener's body, working some short punches and elbows. Enlightener is breathing heavily. Bandito Salsas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Enlightener looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bandito Salsas landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Enlightener wants to control but Bandito Salsas postures up. Enlightener is not content to let Bandito Salsas control the position. Bandito Salsas is chipping away with strikes.
Enlightener takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bandito Salsas is looking to take a break and control but Enlightener is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Enlightener on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The cut above Dante Enlightener's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Enlightener is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bandito Salsas is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Bandito Salsas in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The referee warns Enlightener that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Asbjoern Andersson has been cut. Andersson looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Karelin connects with a superb combination that knocks Andersson out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Karelin before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Andersson!
