Main event

Cox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hatebreed - Destroy Everything. And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyke Mison!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Mison misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cox, right into the meat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cox.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cox lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mison has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mison and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cox tries to bum rush Mison with a series of wild strikes but Mison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mison throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cox sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cox clobbers Mison with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Mison sizes up Cox with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cox tries to clinch but Mison is having none of it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mison creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cox is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cox has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mison is working away from the top position though.

Mison is looking for a kimura but Cox is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mison to get the leverage.
Mison thows a huge punch but Cox dodges it nicely.
Cox tries to kick Mison off but Mison keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cox gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mison checks the leg kick.

Cox lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cox scores with a one two! Mison had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Cox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Mison blocks a low kick nicely.
Mison throws a body kick that misses.
Mison ducks under a wild hook from Cox.

Cox rushes Mison and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cox lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mison takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cox loads up on a big right hand but Mison slips the punch.

Cox ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mison is breathing heavily.
Cox scores with a nice right hand.
Cox looks to land a combination but Mison avoids it well.

Cox cracks Mison with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mison is rocked!
Cox closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mison! Cox dives in looking to finish! Mison is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
