7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Geoff Deal! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loktekrutko fails with a takedown attempt. Loktekrutko walks into a left hand. Deal throws a leg kick but Loktekrutko sees it coming and moves out of range. Horrible takedown by Loktekrutko or perhaps it was just good defense by Deal which made him look bad. Deal lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Deal scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Deal just misses with a punch to the body.
Deal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Deal is looking to clinch. Deal throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Loktekrutko. Loktekrutko blocks a leg kick. Deal clinches up against the cage. Deal is pressed up against the cage. Loktekrutko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Deal down to the mat. Deal avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gamlet Loktekrutko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deal thuds a left hand into Loktekrutko's body. Deal ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loktekrutko on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deal clinches up against the cage. Deal digs a right hand underneath Loktekrutko's ribcage. Loktekrutko let out a lung full of air as it connected. Loktekrutko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Deal smiles and moves away.
Good leg kick by Deal there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Deal scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Loktekrutko shoots in and drives through. Deal sprawls well. Loktekrutko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Deal throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Deal looks to score with a jab to the body but Loktekrutko is just out of range. Deal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Loktekrutko paws at him with a jab and circles away. Loktekrutko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Deal swivels and escapes. Deal works over Loktekrutko's head and body with a nice combination.
Loktekrutko is rocked!
It looks like Gamlet Loktekrutko has been cut. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Loktekrutko is defended easily by Deal. Deal circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Loktekrutko drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Deal follows Loktekrutko to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Njord scores with a punch to the head. Nikolaev lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Njord backs up against the cage.

Njord throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Njord throws a series of punches but Nikolaev moves out of range. Nikolaev on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nikolaev throws a right and a left that both miss. Njord throws a hook to the side of Nikolaev's head but Nikolaev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Njord lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Anouska Nikolaev has been cut. Njord lands a big uppercut and Nikolaev crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nikolaev looks OK. Njord waves Nikolaev back to his feet!
Nikolaev is rocked! Njord gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short right from Njord. Njord jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nikolaev walks away with a smile on his face. Njord gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Nikolaev moves away from the strike by Njord. Njord fails with an attempt to clinch.
Njord thows a body shot but no joy. Njord scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Njord throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nikolaev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nikolaev looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. A cross from Njord lands. Nikolaev throws a looping overhand right but Njord ducks down to avoid it. No joy there for Njord, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Njord connects with the punch. Njord pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A punch lands to the side of Nikolaev 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nikolaev takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nikolaev is still on wobbly legs! Can Njord finish him? Njord cracks Nikolaev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nikolaev seems to have recovered his senses. Njord is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nikolaev throws a right and a left that Njord avoids nicely. Njord is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Nikolaev lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Njord lands a body shot. Njord ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Njord no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Njord might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Njord looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Njord is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nikolaev is aware though and is defending well. Njord is looking for a triangle but Nikolaev pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Njord working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nikolaev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nikolaev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nikolaev wants to stand but Njord has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Nikolaev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Njord. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Njord is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nikolaev defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asterix Njord dominated that round. The cut man is working on Anouska Nikolaev's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Njord has Nikolaev pressed against the cage, preventing Nikolaev from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Njord is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nikolaev can do to turn this around? Njord lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nikolaev backwards. Njord jumps guard but Nikolaev stands there with Njord around his waist. Njord gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Njord has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nikolaev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Njord working a defensive guard but Nikolaev manages to pass into side control anyway.

Njord jumps guard but Nikolaev stands there with Njord around his waist. Njord gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pete defending well as Filipovic loads up on a big left hand. Filipovic throws a lazy right hand but Pete sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Filipovic circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pete tries to clinch up. Pete scores a takedown into full mount! Pete lands a big shot there that rocks Filipovic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Filipovic is breathing heavily. Pete has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Filipovic's face.
Pete working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Filipovic in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Filipovic is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pete postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Filipovic out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Pete goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jankovic lands a really nice looking cross but Beeblebrox seems unphased.
Jankovic punishes Beeblebrox's body with a nice straight punch. Beeblebrox looks for a takedown but Jankovic sprawls well. Jankovic with a body punch. A glancing blow. Beeblebrox looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Beeblebrox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jankovic to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Zephod Beeblebrox has been cut. Jankovic drops Beeblebrox with a right and a left! Jankovic comes rushing in but Beeblebrox regains his composure and manages to keep Jankovic in guard.
Beeblebrox is rocked! Jankovic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Beeblebrox, up you get! Jankovic cracks Beeblebrox with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Beeblebrox tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jankovic pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Beeblebrox is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Penn. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fallon swings and misses with a shot to the body and Penn counters with a right hand to the body. Fallon looks gassed! Fallon ducks under a wild hook from Penn. Penn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Penn misses with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn with a body punch. A glancing blow. Fallon ducks straight into an uppercut from Penn and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Fallon maanges to regain guard straight away.
Penn gets to his feet. Fallon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Penn circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Fallon to the canvas! Fallon doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Penn keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos blocks a jab. Wegesin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wegesin can't keep his opponent in guard - Santos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Santos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wegesin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Santos is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but DJ Wegesin will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raskalnikov is looking to clinch but Laiho is avoiding it.
Leopold Raskalnikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Raskalnikov throws a quick inside leg kick. Raskalnikov throws a sloppy head kick and Laiho moves out of range easily. Laiho jabbing away but nothing is landing. Laiho swats away the attempt to clinch by Raskalnikov. Raskalnikov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Laiho on the side of the head. Laiho moves out of range of the body kick from Raskalnikov.
Raskalnikov feints and then cracks Laiho's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Laiho down. Laiho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hansseen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lawrence napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hansseen tries for a kimura but Lawrence is defending well. You can see the frustration on Lawrence's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lawrence throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Lawrence is trying to improve his position. Lawrence tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hansseen presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hansseen wants to control the pace but Lawrence is squirming around nicely. Lawrence is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hansseen trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hansseen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Hansseen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lawrence can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hansseen is thwarting Lawrence's attempts to control the position. Lawrence actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hansseen wants to free his trapped foot but Lawrence is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hansseen is trying to control. Lawrence wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hansseen is pressing down on Lawrence's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lawrence is holding on for now. Hansseen is trying to work for a kimura but Lawrence is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lawrence misses with a takedown attempt and Hansseen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lawrence's guard. Lawrence working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hansseen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lawrence is tightening it up a little... Hansseen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hansseen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hansseen taps out! nice BJJ there by Lawrence!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnstone misses with a two punch combination.

It looks like Death Row has been cut. Johnstone misses with a few strikes there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A telegraphed right hand from Johnstone misses the target. Johnstone tries to bum rush Row with a series of wild strikes but Row uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Johnstone misses with a body shot.
Johnstone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Row moves away. Row has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Row there as he acknowledges the shot. Johnstone waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Row. Row takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Row looks gassed! Johnstone misses the shot to the body. Johnstone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Johnstone looks to score with a jab to the body but Row is just out of range. Row staying out of range there. Johnstone throws a hook but Row avoids it easily.

Johnstone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Johnstone wants to control but Row is keeping him busy. Johnstone is trying to work for a kimura but Row is defending well.
Row regains full guard. Nicely done. Johnstone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Row swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnstone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Row has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnstone has managed to get both his arms back between Row's legs - danger averted.

Row escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnstone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Johnstone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Row swivels though and keeps the full guard. Row not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Johnstone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Row. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A telegraphed right hand from Johnstone misses the target. Row shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnstone but Johnstone pushes him off and we're back to square one. Row displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnstone throws out the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Johnstone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Death Row's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Row uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Johnstone. Row moves away from the strike by Johnstone. Johnstone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Row circles away quickly and effectively. Row uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnstone.
Good exchange - Johnstone coming out on top. Row dodges the punch combination from Johnstone.
Hank Johnstone is winning the standup battle so far. Johnstone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Row manages to avoid it. Row closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Row lands in his opponent's guard. Row drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Row seems to have locked his on tight now - Johnstone screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Row, as he picks up the win!

A swing and a miss from Cage. Say on the wrong end of a nice jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Say ducks under a wild hook from Cage. Cage lands with an uppercut that bounces Say off the cage and back into rage. Cage throws a combination that misses and Say counters with an outside leg kick.
Say doesn't manage to clinch there - Cage circles away.
Say tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cage circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Say takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Say takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A punch lands to the side of Say 's head but he takes it in his stride. Cage throws a right and a left that both miss. Say is looking to clinch but Cage is avoiding it.
Say tries to work over Cage's front leg with a kick but Cage checks it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cage, as that shot connected.
Say takes one on the button. Say with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cage to score with a decent uppercut. Say moves out of range of the strikes. Say throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Zander Cage has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Say throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Cage looks to land a right hand but Say moved out of range. Cage is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Say on the wrong end of a nice jab. Cage blocks a leg kick. Cage misses with a hook to the body
and Say counters with a flying knee. Nice. Say avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cage loads up on a big right hand but Say slips the punch. Cage avoids the head kick by Say.
Say throws a hook but Cage avoids it easily. Say scores with a jab. A jab from Cage misses. Cage scores with a nice strike. Say looks to land a right hand but Cage moved out of range. Cage misses the jab. Say throws a push kick but Cage slaps the foot to one side. No joy there for Cage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Left hook, right uppercut from Cage. Cage misses with a hook. Cage connects with a stiff jab that staggers Say - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
