The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nose tries to close the distance and clinch but Marquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Marquez swats away the attempt to clinch by Nose.
Adrian Marquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nose fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nose avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marquez keeps the fight on the outside.

Lao Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lao Jr wants it to stay on the feet.

Lao Jr rushes Gracie and presses him up against the cage.
Lao Jr tries to land a knee to the head but Gracie blocks with his arms.
Lao Jr with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Lao Jr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lao Jr circles away.

Nice takedown defense from Walker. No joy for TW on that attempt.
TW fails to land the takedown.
Henri TW seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Walker.

Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with TW. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
TW seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

TW had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Walker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. TW Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Walker's back instead.

Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
