The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baby throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around top's waist but top gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baby off to one side.
Baby fakes a jab and throws a low kick but top checks it well.
Baby shoots in looking for a takedown. top tries to sprawl out of it but Baby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. top manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Baby tries to clinch there but top circles away.

Baby feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Baby postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! top is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Baby, into his guard.
Baby thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Baby will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pakkanen shoots in looking for a takedown. Randaberg tries to sprawl out of it but Pakkanen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Randaberg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Randaberg throws a hook but Pakkanen avoids it easily.
Pakkanen shoots in for a double leg but Randaberg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ricky Randaberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petri Pakkanen.

Randaberg lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pakkanen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
