Trudel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cadillac Pimpin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cromoljenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Friends And Traitors. Smith has chosen Guerilla Radio by RATM as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Hopp!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopp walks into a left hand.
Hopp circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hopp misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dylan shoots in and bounces Hopp off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dylan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hopp utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hopp trying to control the position.
Dylan trying to control the position from guard on top but Hopp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hopp looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hopp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dylan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dylan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dylan is looking to work some ground and pound but Hopp has wrist control.

Dylan is working Hopp over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dylan chips away with some ground and pound.
Dylan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hopp's head.
Hopp not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dylan won't allow Hopp to sweep him here.
Dylan stands and throws Hopp's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hopp seems a little lost for a moment, as Dylan dominates the positioning.
Dylan scoring with punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hopp struggling a bit here.

Dylan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hopp has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dylan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hopp to see if he's OK.

Sachel drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sachel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Riley is keeping the position for now.
Riley controlling the position.
Sachel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sachel drops back looking for a leg! Riley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Riley manages to kick Sachel off! Sachel jumps back into Riley's guard.
Sachel wants to pass the guard but Riley is keeping the position.
Sachel trying to control but Riley is working from the bottom.
Sachel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sachel won't allow Riley to sweep him here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sachel closes the distance and clinches up with Riley, looking for a takedown. Sachel pushes Riley against the cage but Riley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sachel misses with a takedown attempt - Riley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Riley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bogan Riley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Sachel.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Riley!

It looks like Jason Sachel has been cut.
Sachel looks gassed!
Riley lands a nice shot to the body.
Riley works Sachel's body with a nice hook.
Nice body punch from Riley.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sachel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Riley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Riley lands the left hand.
Riley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sachel momentarily.

Sachel is rocked!

Riley is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Sachel hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
