The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metzger tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Doe is able to avoid easily.
Metzger walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Doe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Doe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Metzger tries to avoid it but Doe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Metzger to the ground. Metzger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Doe misses with a hook. Metzger ducked under it nicely.
Doe looks to score with a jab to the body but Metzger is just out of range.
A shot to de liver by Metzger. Beautiful body shot.
Doe looks gassed!
Metzger cracks the inside of Doe's front leg.
Metzger lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like John Doe has been cut.
Viktor Metzger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Metzger connects with a solid leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Metzger.
Metzger lands a nice leg kick that just misses Doe's sensitive parts.

Metzger lands a big head kick that sends Doe tumbling to the mat! Metzger takes a step backwards and waves Doe back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This one is over folks. Tripp just didn't come prepared.

Rush tightens his grip and picks Savard up, before dumping him to the ground. Savard manages to land in guard.
