1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oba Bakker! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bakker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mamba actively working from the bottom here. Bakker wants to pass to mount but Mamba is defending the position. Mamba is trying to maintain the position but Bakker is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bakker stalling. Bakker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mamba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mamba slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bakker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bakker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mamba working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bakker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bakker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bakker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bakker looking to pass the guard. Bakker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mamba's head. Mamba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bakker defends well. Bakker content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bakker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mamba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bakker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mamba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bakker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mamba had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bakker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mamba Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bakker's back instead. Mamba working for a choke but Bakker is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bakker trying to get back to his feet but Mamba is in full control for now. Bakker trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Mamba is cranking Bakker's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bakker! He's tightened the choke and Bakker is tapping out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krujcek keeps the fight on the outside. nelson scores with a body shot.
Krujcek looks to score with a jab to the body but nelson is just out of range. nelson shoots in but Krujcek avoids the takedown attempt easily. Krujcek jabbing away but nothing is landing. A cross from Krujcek lands. Krujcek misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from nelson.
nelson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Krujcek connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. nelson moves into the clinch. nelson misses with a hook to the ribs.
nelson tries to pull guard but Krujcek holds him up against the cage and eventually nelson drops back down to his feet.
nelson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Krujcek walks away with a smile on his face. nelson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Krujcek dives in and grabs nelson's left leg, looking for a takedown. nelson pushes down on Krujcek's head and hops out. Krujcek displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from nelson. Krujcek closes the distance and clinches. Krujcek taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Krujcek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fight stays on the outside here - nelson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. nelson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Krujcek throws a half hearted mid kick. Krujcek is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Krujcek scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krujcek misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overeem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Overeem postures up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Overeem stopping the sweep attempt from dasterdly. Overeem trying to control the position from guard on top but dasterdly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. dasterdly is trying to control the position but Overeem postures up. Overeem drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Overeem jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Overeem throwing strikes but missing. Overeem trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. dasterdly has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. dasterdly with a poor takedown and Overeem counters with a takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on dasterdly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Overeem has hold of dasterdly's arm. He's looking for a kimura. dasterdly seems comfortable defending it but Overeem has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! dasterdly is real pain and he's forced to tap out! dasterdly is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Overeem couldn't care less - he's delighted!

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kerr to score with a decent uppercut.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Janssen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Kerr digs a good hook to Janssen's body.
