The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gallrdo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dejesus. Gallrdo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dejesus paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gallrdo gets caught flat footed, as Dejesus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dejesus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dejesus stops Gallrdo from standing up. Dejesus trying to control the position from guard on top but Gallrdo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gallrdo uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Gallrdo lands a left and a right that send Dejesus crashing to the mat, dazed. Gallrdo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dejesus is rocked!
It looks like Douglas Dejesus has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gallrdo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Dejesus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dejesus is working for takedown but Gallrdo is calmly controlling the position for now. Dejesus seems to have got his legs back now. Dejesus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gallrdo lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Dejesus is looking to close the distance but Gallrdo sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Dejesus crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Dejesus is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Sinclaire is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wave is just riding it out for now. Sinclaire eventually gives up the hold. Sinclaire is looking for a kimura here.
Sinclaire wants to pass the guard but Wave is defending well. Wave regains full guard. Nicely done. Wave working for a triangle but Sinclaire defends it easily.

Wave can't keep his opponent in guard - Sinclaire advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sinclaire is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wave is just riding it out for now. Sinclaire eventually gives up the hold. Wave wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Wave moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sinclaire tries to free his leg and advance position but Wave is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wave throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Sinclaire drops back looking for a leg! Wave is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wave manages to kick Sinclaire off! Sinclaire jumps back into Wave's guard. Sinclaire is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sinclaire slips nicely into half guard. Sinclaire is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wave defends it well. Wave had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sinclaire is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wave Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sinclaire's back instead. Wave looking for the choke from the back. Wave is trying to stick to Sinclaire's back but Sinclaire is turning into Wave. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wave's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sinclaire. Sinclaire slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sinclaire is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wave knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Wave stops Sinclaire from passing to mount.

Wave didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sinclaire is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sinclaire hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Arlovski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Arlovski scores with a one two! Big Bear had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Arlovski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. DoUrden leaves Bucher with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. DoUrden drives through with a takedown into guard.
