The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shane lands a nice looking body shot.
Sousa shoots in looking for a takedown. Shane tries to sprawl out of it but Sousa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Shane lands a nice shot to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guandelino tries to clinch up but Klishenko circles away and keeps his distance. Guandelino closes the distance and pushes Klishenko back into the cage. Guandelino tries to land a knee to the head but Klishenko blocks with his arms.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Von der Rib is defended easily by the warrior. Von der Rib is trying hard to land a takedown here. the warrior sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Von der Rib shoots for a double leg takedown but the warrior sprawls well. He's pushed Von der Rib's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lancelote Von der Rib. That's going to take a lot out of him. the warrior closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Von der Rib is not content to let the warrior control the position. Von der Rib is letting the warrior control him for a moment. the warrior works to advance to full mount. Von der Rib defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Von der Rib has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, the warrior has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

And that's the end of the fight! jason the warrior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well the warrior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The fight stays on the outside here - Valcone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Henrique lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Henrique. Valcone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Henrique swats him away and circles back towards the center. Valcone tries to clinch there but Henrique circles away.

Bruzzi tries to bum rush Germano with a series of wild strikes but Germano uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Germano shoots in for a double leg but Bruzzi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bruzzi misses with a hook. Bruzzi looks for a takedown but Germano sprawls well. Germano avoids the body shot from Bruzzi.
Bruzzi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bruzzi sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Germano prevents Bruzzi from improving his position. Bruzzi is defending against the submission attempts here by Germano.

Bruzzi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Germano has hold of Bruzzi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bruzzi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Germano wants to pass to mount but Bruzzi is defending the position. Bruzzi kicks Germano off and gets back to his feet. Germano fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bruzzi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Germano manages to avoid it. Bruzzi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bruzzi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's going to take a lot out of Eric Germano. Bruzzi wants to clinch but Germano slips to the side and Germano counters by clinching up. Germano prevents Bruzzi from breaking the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bruzzi as Germano tries to tie him up. Bruzzi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bruzzi is trying to maintain a safe position but Germano gets an underhook and turns Bruzzi into the cage. Bruzzi can't break the clinch.

Germano takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Felipe Bruzzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Germano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bruzzi swivels and escapes. Bruzzi lands a jab to the nose. Bruzzi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bruzzi throws a lazy right hand but Germano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bruzzi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bruzzi clinches. Germano is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bruzzi is defending well for now. Germano jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bruzzi walks away with a smile on his face. Germano gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bruzzi lands a jab to Germano's midsection. Germano looks for a takedown but Bruzzi sprawls well. Felipe Bruzzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Germano. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Germano shoots in and bounces Bruzzi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruzzi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Germano! Bruzzi controlling from mount. Bruzzi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Germano looks a forlorn figure.

Bruzzi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bruzzi tries to control but Germano wriggling away. Bruzzi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bruzzi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Germano for as long as he can get away with. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
