The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Furcal thows a left - swing and a miss! Furcal misses with a two punch combination.
Hazen closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hazen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Furcal as he avoids it easily. Furcal throws a hook to the side of Hazen's head but Hazen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hazen fails to land the takedown. Hazen takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Danny Hazen has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Furcal works the jab nicely. Hazen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Furcal is fending him off so far but Hazen persists. Nope, Furcal circles away and we're back to standing. Mike Furcal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Hazen. Hazen slips under a jab from Furcal. Hazen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Furcal throws out a powerful jab. Hazen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hazen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hazen has closed the distance and engaged Furcal in a clinch.

Furcal works over Hazen's head and body with a nice combination. Hazen looks gassed! Furcal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hazen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Furcal keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hazen defending well as Furcal loads up on a big left hand. Hazen is looking to clinch. Hazen takes a shot right to the bread basket. Furcal drops Hazen with a beautiful combination! Hazen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Furcal is looking for the KO!
Hazen is rocked!
That has opened up Danny Hazen's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Furcal lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Hazen - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Furcal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barbee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pettimore. Barbee moves away from the strike by Pettimore. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pettimore scores with a hook.
It looks like Doug Barbee has been cut. Barbee fails with the takedown. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barbee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pettimore defends it nicely. No luck for Barbee with that takedown attempt. Lawrence Pettimore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Barbee. Some bone on bone action there as Barbee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Barbee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pettimore motions for Barbee to come forward. Pettimore throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barbee is defended easily by Pettimore. Pettimore is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Pettimore throws an overhand right that lands on Barbee's shoulder, as Barbee tries to avoid the shot. Barbee is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pettimore is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Barbee. No luck with that takedown attempt from Barbee. Barbee looks gassed! Pettimore scores with a jab. Barbee acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Pettimore sends Barbee crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pettimore is motioning to the referee to let Barbee up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Barbee is rocked! Pettimore is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Barbee flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Barbee is out cold! Pettimore holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machini closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Machini lands in his opponent's guard. Hendrix wants to sweep here but Machini controlling him for the moment. Machini must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hendrix throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Machini escapes and throws Hendrix's legs to the side, diving into side control! Hendrix is trying to get back to his feet. Hendrix tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Machini wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Machini is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hendrix sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Hendrix pushes Machini off looking to stand but Machini dives back in and keeps control.
Machini throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hendrix gets full guard. Machini wants to control from the top but Hendrix keeps moving. Hendrix wants to improve his position but instead Machini has moved into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machini is trying to control. Hendrix wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hendrix is looking to escape. Ground and pound from Machini. Hendrix is looking for a sweep. Machini is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hendrix is looking to escape. Hendrix tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Machini has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Hendrix tries to reverse the position but Machini maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Machini with a couple of short strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendrix is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Machini scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hendrix?
Hendrix swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Hendrix throwing hammer fists to the chest of Machini. What's that going to do exactly? Machini working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Machini dominating with strikes here. Hendrix might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hendrix is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Machini connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Machini can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hendrix is looking to escape. The referee warns Hendrix that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Machini is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hendrix thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Machini stops Hendrix from standing up. Machini postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hendrix looking to hit a scissor sweep but Machini is one step ahead there. Hendrix is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hendrix misses with a takedown attempt and Machini counters by clinching up. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hendrix shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Machini decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hendrix's guard. Hendrix is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Machini stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hendrix with a poor takedown and Machini counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jimi Hendrix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machini moves into the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Machini. Hendrix avoids a wild elbow strike from Machini. Machini tries for a takedown but Hendrix manages to get underhooks.
Hendrix jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Machini walks away with a smile on his face. Hendrix gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Machini drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hendrix tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machini gets to mount! Hendrix was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Machini showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Machini feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hendrix looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Machini's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hendrix working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Machini doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machini manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Machini slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Hendrix. Hendrix tries to roll over but Machini keeps him under control. Machini postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hendrix to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good leg kick by Machini there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Joe Machini has got the better of the ground game so far. Hendrix moves into full guard.

A nice elbow there by Machini. Machini breaks from Hendrix's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jimi Hendrix has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Machini with good strikes from the mount here! Machini postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hendrix looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Machini controlling the position easily from mount. Joe Machini is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hendrix regains half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Machini comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Machini has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rockwell works his way into side control. Rockwell works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ricard tries to buck Rockwell off but Rockwell is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rockwell throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Ricard wants to control but Rockwell postures up. Ricard is looking to reverse the position. Rockwell landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Rockwell lands a nice forearm strike. Rockwell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ricard down.

Ricard has Rockwell pulled in close to control his posture. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ricard can do anything to dispel that myth. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ricard is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Frank Ricard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ricard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Tutuola as Fuller shoots in. Fuller shoots for a double leg takedown but Tutuola sprawls well. He's pushed Fuller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fuller is defended easily by Tutuola. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dante Fuller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tutuola gets a takedown into half guard. Fuller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tutuola. Tutuola decides to stand and escape the position. Fuller moves in looking to clinch but Tutuola pushes him off. Horrible takedown by Meister or perhaps it was just good defense by Man which made him look bad. Man buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That sent Meister stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Man lands with a slapping head kick. Meister has a takedown stuffed.

Man throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Meister. Man scores with a three punch combo!

And that's the end of the fight! ImA Man showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Man, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipopic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wright.
Filipopic fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wright is out of range. Filipopic slips a jab and a cross from Wright.

Wright lands a left and a right that send Filipopic crashing to the mat, dazed. Wright thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Wright throws a right and a left that Filipopic avoids nicely. Filipopic throws a looping overhand right but Wright ducks down to avoid it. Filipopic slips a straight right by Wright. Wright looks to land a combination but Filipopic avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright checks a leg kick. Wright lands with a right that hurts Filipopic. Filipopic looks to clinch but Wright throws a short knee that drops Filipopic. This one is all over!
