The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

mockenmaker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pikachu is not content to let mockenmaker control the position.
mockenmaker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pikachu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Pikachu is looking to regain half guard here but mockenmaker keeps moving and retains side control.
Pikachu wants to control but mockenmaker postures up.
Pikachu managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by mockenmaker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pikachu parries the strikes from mockenmaker easily there. mockenmaker is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pikachu to escape.
Pikachu is looking for a sweep.
mockenmaker tries to score with some ground and pound. Pikachu controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
