The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharpe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sharpe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Butternuts fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Butternuts tries to bum rush Sharpe with a series of wild strikes but Sharpe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Butternuts throws a shot from downtown. Sharpe moves away and avoids it. Butternuts swinging wilding here.
Butternuts throws a right hand that Sharpe ducks under and follows up with a left that Sharpe also avoids with ease. Sharpe avoids a punch combination nicely.

Butternuts throws a right and a left that both miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Butternuts.
Sharpe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Butternuts is fending him off so far but Sharpe persists. Nope, Butternuts circles away and we're back to standing. Sharpe scores a takedown into full mount! Sharpe swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steiner swats away the attempt to clinch by Apocalypse. Apocalypse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Apocalypse prevents Steiner from getting the reversal. Apocalypse looking to finish with strikes here!
Steiner avoids a series of strikes thrown by Apocalypse.
Steiner wants to hold on but Apocalypse pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Apocalypse looking to secure an arm triangle but Steiner defends it well. Steiner is trying to escape the mount.

Steiner is looking to get to half guard. Apocalypse landing strikes from the mount and Steiner is in trouble! Apocalypse looking to control but Steiner is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Apocalypse controlling his opponent. Steiner looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steiner tries to hold on but Apocalypse pushes him away. Apocalypse cracks Steiner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Apocalypse wants to finish this one by submission but Steiner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Apocalypse. Apocalypse fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Steiner has given up his back. Will we see Apocalypse going for some submissions?
Apocalypse slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Apocalypse tries to clinch but Steiner moves out of range. Steiner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Apocalypse momentarily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobcat Apocalypse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Apocalypse is looking to clinch but Steiner is avoiding it.
Steiner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Apocalypse looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Apocalypse closes the distance and clinches up with Steiner, looking for a takedown. Apocalypse pushes Steiner against the cage but Steiner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Apocalypse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobcat Apocalypse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Apocalypse shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Steiner as he avoids it easily. Apocalypse takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Steiner looks to throw the jab but Apocalypse is out of range. Apocalypse fails with an attempt to clinch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Steiner. Steiner lands a with a good body shot. Bobcat Apocalypse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Apocalypse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steiner but Steiner pushes him off and we're back to square one. Steiner slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Apocalypse avoids the head kick by Steiner.
Apocalypse clinches up with Steiner and pushes him back against the cage. Apocalypse lands a nice elbow. Apocalypse lands an elbow inside that Steiner shrugs off. Apocalypse throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Brock Steiner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Apocalypse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Steiner stopping the sweep attempt from Apocalypse. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Apocalypse seems keen to control Steiner's posture.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mucho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arroyo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Arroyo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mucho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mucho throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mucho has momentary wrist control but Arroyo slips an elbow through the middle. Mucho wants to stand and escape but Arroyo is having none of it. Arroyo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Arroyo thows a big elbow that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Arroyo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mucho will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Arroyo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mucho works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Arroyo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Mucho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Arroyo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arroyo lands in his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Mucho wants to stand up but Arroyo is controlling him. Mucho is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arroyo trying to control the position from guard on top but Mucho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Arroyo scoring with some ground and pound. Arroyo trying to control but Mucho is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mucho is trying to keep Arroyo in close.
Arroyo content to stall in guard here. Arroyo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mucho really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Arroyo is in close to Mucho's body, working some short punches and elbows. Arroyo stays in close to Mucho's body and controls the position. Arroyo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mucho is keeping the position for now. Arroyo is looking to work some ground and pound but Mucho has wrist control. Arroyo trying to control but Mucho is working from the bottom. Arroyo scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Arroyo stays in close to Mucho's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arroyo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Arroyo passes into half guard. Arroyo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Arroyo wants to pass the guard but Mucho is defending well. Arroyo is thwarting Mucho's attempts to control the position. Arroyo is keen to just control but Mucho is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Juventa Arroyo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mucho connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Arroyo looks for a takedown but Mucho sprawls well. Arroyo fails with a takedown attempt. Macho Mucho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mucho throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Arroyo.

It looks like Juventa Arroyo has been cut. A shot to de liver by Mucho. Beautiful body shot. Mucho dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Arroyo. That did some damage! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mucho! Arroyo is out on his feet! Mucho rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Arroyo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Arroyo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Dolan lands a body shot. Karl tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dolan smiles and moves away.

A lazy body kick attempt from Karl. Dolan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Karl. Karl throws a head kick that misses. Dolan throws a right hand that Karl ducks under and follows up with a left that Karl also avoids with ease. Dolan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dolan takes the fight into the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Dolan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickson misses with a head kick.
Taylor tries to clinch up. Dickson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Dickson tries to clinch but Taylor moves out of range. Dickson throws a head kick that misses. Taylor checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Taylor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor tries for a takedown but Dickson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dickson has Taylor up against the cage in a clinch.

Dickson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dickson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Taylor regains half guard. Taylor tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Dickson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dickson controlling the pace for now. Taylor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dickson trying to control but Taylor is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Taylor working to try and regain half guard.

Taylor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Well, if Taylor is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Taylor has isolated one of Dickson's arms. Dickson looking to fight him off but Taylor twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
