Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dolla Ballo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gero Konig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konig comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kasabian - Fire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

DJ Filip had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prush gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Prush has picked Gusmao up - he's going for a ride! Prush dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Prush is working for a submission of some sort.
Gusmao wants to get back to his feet.
Prush not doing much here.
Gusmao blocking the ground and pound attempt from Prush.
Prush tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gusmao knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Prush with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Prush is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gusmao doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Prush.
Gusmao wants to get back to his feet.
Prush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Prush is pressing down on Gusmao's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gusmao is holding on for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Prush moves into range and clinches up with Gusmao.
Gusmao has had enough of the clinch but Prush keeps him there for the moment.
Prush tries a knee to the head but Gusmao blocks it.
Gusmao lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gusmao wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gusmao is pressed up against the cage. Prush has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gusmao down to the mat. Gusmao avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gusmao keeps the fight on the outside.
Prush moves in looking to clinch but Gusmao pushes him off.
Gusmao looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Prush checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Prush moves into the clinch.

Prush gets control of Gusmao's arms and successfully pulls guard. Prush will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prush is working an open guard so Gusmao takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Gusmao tries to clinch but Prush moves away

and Prush counters with a takedown into side control.
Gusmao is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gusmao is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Prush wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gusmao, who protects the arm well.
Gusmao struggling a bit here.
Prush tries to move to mount but Gusmao blocks the move with his legs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Prush advances nicely into full mount.

Prush throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Gusmao has his hands clasped together but Prush breaks the hold and Gusmao is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Prush!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Math Prush!
