Uno fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Flame, pushing him back against the cage. Flame blocking some punches.
Flame jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Uno walks away with a smile on his face. Flame gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Flame tries to clinch up but Uno circles away and keeps his distance. Uno tries to clinch but Flame moves away and Flame holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Flame fails to pull the fight into his guard.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Scully! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaquero feints and as Scully raises his hands in defense, Vaquero changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Scully looking for a guillotine here but Vaquero defends easily.
Vaquero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Scully is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vaquero trying to control the position from guard on top but Scully is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vaquero pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scully is keeping the position for now. Vaquero stays in close to Scully's body and controls the position. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Vaquero closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vaquero is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Scully is just riding it out for now. Vaquero eventually gives up the hold. Vaquero seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Scully does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Scully dives in and grabs Vaquero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vaquero pushes down on Scully's head and hops out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Scully. Scully looks gassed! Vaquero looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Scully! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
