The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barreto Neto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morgan.

Morgan connects with a crisp jab. Morgan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Morgan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Morgan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Barreto Neto drops down looking for an ankle pick but Morgan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Barreto Neto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Barreto Neto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morgan. Horrible takedown by Barreto Neto or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Morgan, as that shot connected.

and Barreto Neto counters with a single leg into guard. Morgan didn't expect that. Barreto Neto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barreto Neto stands and throws Morgan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barreto Neto trying to control the position but Morgan is working away. Morgan tries to improve position but can't. Barreto Neto decides to stand back up. Barreto Neto steps back and let's Morgan get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Barreto Neto defending well as Morgan loads up on a big left hand. Morgan with a poor takedown and Barreto Neto counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barreto Neto is defended easily by Morgan. Barreto Neto blocks a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barreto Neto prevents Morgan from breaking the clinch. Morgan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barreto Neto has him pressed against the cage. Barreto Neto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Morgan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Barreto Neto counters by moving into the clinch. Barreto Neto is trying to drag Morgan to the mat but Morgan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sammy Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Breno Barreto Neto. Barreto Neto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Morgan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A right hand to the body from Morgan.

Morgan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Horrible takedown by Barreto Neto or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad. Morgan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barreto Neto as he avoids it easily. Morgan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sammy Morgan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Breno Barreto Neto's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Grown has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning van der Val to stand back up! The fight moves into the clinch position. van der Val tries for a takedown but Grown manages to get underhooks.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Grown creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tota Liddel! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Melvin Hasselhoff! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasselhoff fails with a takedown attempt. Liddel stuffs the takedown. Liddel looks to throw the jab but Hasselhoff is out of range. Hasselhoff shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddel sprawls well. Liddel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hasselhoff gets slowly back to his feet. Tota Liddel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Hasselhoff. Liddel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hasselhoff. Liddel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hasselhoff. Hasselhoff circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Hasselhoff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liddel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hasselhoff somewhat. Hasselhoff is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Melvin Hasselhoff has been cut. Hasselhoff is trying hard to land a takedown here. Liddel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hasselhoff takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hasselhoff looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hasselhoff uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Liddel.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. BOOM! Liddel lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hasselhoff. Hasselhoff tries to recover but Liddel is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hasselhoff lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tota Liddel! Tota Liddel retains his middleweight title!
