The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Negao closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming nehe to the mat! nehe manages to get full guard. nehe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. nehe will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Negao trying to control the position from guard on top but nehe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. nehe is looking for a triangle but Negao pushes his legs off easily.
nehe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Negao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Negao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. nehe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Negao kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guida misses with a head kick.
Wanov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guida sprawls well. Guida wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wanov gets slowly back to his feet. Guida gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wanov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guida has momentary wrist control but Wanov slips an elbow through the middle. It looks like Bob The Jew has been cut. The Jew avoiding damage.

That has opened up Bob The Jew's cut even more. The Jew has Edwards pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Edwards manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The Jew should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Vantaggiato tries to close the distance and clinch up but Georgsen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vantaggiato looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
