Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Kindbom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gautier Josse! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Josse does no damage. Josse throws a head kick but Kindbom moves out of range.
Josse stuffs the takedown attempt from Kindbom. Kindbom gets slowly back to his feet. Kindbom walks into a left hand. Josse turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Josse fails in his attempt to clinch. Kindbom drives through and clinches with Josse against the ropes.
Josse landing knees to the head.
Josse has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Kindbom goes down! Josse dives on top of him - Kindbom manages to get guard.
Kindbom is rocked!
It looks like Daniel Kindbom has been cut. Josse wants to stand but Kindbom is controlling his posture from full guard. Oh Kindbom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Josse missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Josse wanted to stand there but Kindbom had control of the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice takedown defense from Josse. No joy for Kindbom on that attempt. Josse moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Josse lands a big knee! That's hurt Kindbom! Oh, he's all over the place! Josse lands another knee that sends Kindbom to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macfedries doesn't manage to clinch there - Al Hindi circles away.

Macfedries tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. No luck for Al Hindi with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Macfedries throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Hindi gets the takedown into side control. Al Hindi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Macfedries is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Al Hindi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Macfedries is not content to let Al Hindi control the position. Al Hindi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Macfedries has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Macfedries is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Al Hindi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Macfedries, who protects the arm well. Macfedries takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Al Hindi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Macfedries sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Al Hindi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Al Hindi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Macfedries rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Al Hindi's guard! Nice work there by Macfedries! Al Hindi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Al Hindi looks gassed! Al Hindi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Macfedries has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Al Hindi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Macfedries wanted to stand there but Al Hindi had control of the position. Al Hindi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macfedries is aware though and is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Al Hindi keeping moving, preventing Macfedries from controlling successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Al Hindi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macfedries is aware though and is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seitan Al Hindi dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Whack! Macfedries lands a heavy head kick that drops Al Hindi. The ref tackles Macfedries to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Al Hindi was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warshawski blocks a head kick by Brooks.
Warshawski gets in close and instigates a clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. A bit of stalling here from Brooks.
Brooks prevents a takedown attempt there.
Brooks displaying some good clinch control by pressing Warshawski up against the ropes. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Andrew Brooks. A head kick misses from Brooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Warshawski avoids a punch combination nicely.
