The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin misses with the combination.
Mikhailov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rasputin.
Rasputin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mikhailov tries to clinch but Rasputin is having none of it.

Mikhailov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rasputin sprawling to the canvas! Rasputin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mikhailov finish him?!
Mikhailov darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rasputin's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Mikhailov before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Emilianencho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alexandrov tries to avoid it but Emilianencho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alexandrov to the ground. Alexandrov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ovechkin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
