The bell rings for round one and we are underway! rogerio tries for a takedown but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. rogerio keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
rogerio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. rogerio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nelson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! rogerio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nelson is one step ahead there. rogerio isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nelson stacks rogerio on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nelson! Nelson stands and throws rogerio's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nelson decides to stand up, so the ref orders rogerio to his feet. Nice cross by Nelson. Nelson swings for the body but rogerio moves out of range.

Nelson got a little sloppy there for a moment and rogerio has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nelson has managed to get both his arms back between rogerio's legs - danger averted. rogerio wants to stand and escape but Nelson is having none of it. rogerio had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nelson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. rogerio Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nelson's back instead. Nelson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! rogerio is working for a guillotine from mount but Nelson frees his head quite easily.

Nelson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but rogerio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nelson is working hard here to advance position. rogerio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nelson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Nelson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. A bit of a lull in the action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nelson is looking for a sweep. rogerio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nelson, who protects the arm well. Nelson is looking to reverse the position. A combination from Pan does no damage. Pan clobbers robinson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. It looks like Able Nightroad has been cut. Nightroad thows a body shot but no joy. Nightroad throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Baxter tries to clinch up. A solid leg kick lands there for Nightroad.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Player! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ontario Blackfoot! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackfoot lands with an overhand left. Blackfoot defending well as Player loads up on a big left hand. Blackfoot throws a hook to the side of Player's head but Player sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Blackfoot fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Player defending well as Blackfoot loads up on a big left hand. Blackfoot throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Player uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blackfoot. Blackfoot throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Player sees it coming and avoids it easily. Blackfoot misses with a straight left. Player feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Player slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Player trying to control the position from guard on top but Blackfoot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blackfoot looking for a guillotine here but Player defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackfoot looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Blackfoot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Player can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Blackfoot looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Player passes into half guard.
Blackfoot looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Player trying to control the action but Blackfoot is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Player works his way into full mount! Blackfoot is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Blackfoot working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Player controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blackfoot flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Blackfoot is looking to get to half guard. Blackfoot is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Player has taken his back! Blackfoot is really stuck here.
I would not like to be Blackfoot right now.
Blackfoot tries to escape but Player has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Player avoiding Blackfoot 's attempts to control his hands. Blackfoot looking very determined here, making life difficult for Player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Player is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Blackfoot trying to control the hands but Player breaks the grip. Blackfoot tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Player avoids the attempt from Blackfoot to control. Blackfoot looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Player is not going to allow Blackfoot to sit and survive in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ontario Blackfoot will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Player keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Blackfoot. Player checks a leg kick. Blackfoot tries to clinch but Player moves out of range. Player shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blackfoot pinned against the cage. Blackfoot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Blackfoot thows a left - swing and a miss! Blackfoot looks to score with a jab to the body but Player is just out of range. Player defending well as Blackfoot loads up on a big left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Player misses with a series of wild punches.
Blackfoot throws an overhand right that lands on Player's shoulder, as Player tries to avoid the shot. A lazy left from Blackfoot finds it's target. Blackfoot drops Player with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Player! Blackfoot dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ontario Blackfoot!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoppus closes the distance and pushes Dahl back into the cage. Dahl is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hoppus has Dahl pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hoppus pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dahl tumbling to the mat - Hoppus dives into Dahl's guard. Hoppus wanted to stand there but Dahl had control of the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dahl is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hoppus is aware though and is defending well. Hoppus has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dahl to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hoppus is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dahl pulls down on the head and he's put Hoppus to sleep! This one is all over!
