 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verbose closes the distance and clinches up with Lightning, looking for a takedown. Verbose pushes Lightning against the ropes but Lightning circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lightning misses with a takedown
and Verbose counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Verbose. Lightning wants to stand and escape but Verbose is having none of it.
Verbose drops back looking for a leg! Lightning is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lightning manages to kick Verbose off! Verbose jumps back into Lightning's guard. Lightning is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Verbose is controlling him. Lightning keeping moving, preventing Verbose from controlling successfully. Lightning is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Verbose is controlling him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Verbose passes into half guard. Verbose wants to control but Lightning is keeping him busy.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Verbose drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lightning really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Verbose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lightning wants to stand and escape but Verbose is having none of it.
Verbose drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Verbose jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lightning wants to stand and escape but Verbose is having none of it. Lightning keeping moving, preventing Verbose from controlling successfully. Verbose prevents Lightning from getting back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Verbose might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lightning looks gassed! Verbose working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Verbose looking to sit in guard and control but Lightning gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Verbose is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Verbose tries to clinch but Lightning moves out of range. Verbose doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lightning counters with a nice double leg into side control. Verbose won't be happy with that. Verbose manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Verbose missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lightning is trying to stand back up but Verbose is controlling him
Verbose wants to control but Lightning is keeping him busy. Lightning wants to get back to his feet. Lightning tries to kick Verbose off in order to stand up. Verbose Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Verbose decides to take the fight back to the feet. Lightning takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Verbose bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lightning is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Verbose wants to control but Lightning is keeping him busy.
Verbose decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Lightning feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Verbose really is a fat lump. Verbose controls Lightning momentarily but Lightning frees himself. Verbose tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Verbose has momentary wrist control but Lightning slips an elbow through the middle. Lightning working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Verbose's head. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Gensui Verbose dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lightning doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Verbose counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Lightning is looking to stand up but Verbose isn't so interested in that idea. Lightning working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Verbose.
Lightning is working an open guard so Verbose takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gensui Verbose is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lightning wants to clinch and Verbose counters with a right hand to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lightning wants to clinch but Verbose slips to the side
and Verbose counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Verbose wants to pass the guard but Lightning is defending well. Lightning is trying to stand up here but Verbose is controlling him well.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lightning is staying active underneath Verbose, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lightning pushes Verbose off, looking to escape but Verbose dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Lightning is forced to tap! The fight is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man avoids the body shot from Hunkstrom.
Hunkstrom misses with a hook. Man ducked under it nicely. Hunkstrom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Hunkstrom, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunkstrom as he avoids it easily. Man moves out of range as Hunkstrom throws a body kick.
Sven Hunkstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Man shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunkstrom but Hunkstrom pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hunkstrom looks for the body kick but Man saw that one coming. Hunkstrom throws a hook but Man blocks it. Hunkstrom looks to land a left hand but Man moved out of range nicely. Man could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Horrible takedown by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunkstrom which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for G Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunkstrom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Hunkstrom does it's job there. Sven Hunkstrom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hunkstrom looks to land a right hand but Man moved out of range. Hunkstrom misses with a straight left.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Man. Hunkstrom is looking to regain half guard here but Man keeps moving and retains side control. Man tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hunkstrom's legs. Man landing strikes. Man sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hunkstrom is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The strikes coming from Man are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Hunkstrom tries to escape but Man is in control. Man looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hunkstrom is avoiding damage well.
Hunkstrom gets back to half guard. Hunkstrom is looking to escape.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunkstrom controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Hunkstrom wants to control but Man is keeping busy and won't allow it. Man looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hunkstrom with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hunkstrom is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Man scores with a couple of nice shots. Hunkstrom trying to control but Man postures up.
Hunkstrom makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hunkstrom. Man throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hunkstrom pulls Man in close to prevent any damage. Man tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunkstrom is retaining full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Man's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Man is fighting to break Hunkstrom's control of his arms but Hunkstrom is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Man throwing strikes but missing. Man trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hunkstrom is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hunkstrom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Man is one step ahead there. Man trying to control but Hunkstrom is working from the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Man throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The crowd cheers as Hunkstrom lands an impressive looking overhand right. Man doesn't seem phased though. Hunkstrom wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Man uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hunkstrom. Hunkstrom lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hunkstrom misses with a looping right. Man shoots in for a double leg but Hunkstrom sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Man shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hunkstrom defends it nicely. Man is breathing heavily. Hunkstrom ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Man moves away. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Sven Hunkstrom dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hunkstrom dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hunkstrom throws a head kick but Man moves out of range.
Hunkstrom scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Hunkstrom throws a body punch but Man moves out of range. Hunkstrom connects with the punch. Man walks into a jab. Man tries to clinch up. Hunkstrom fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it. Hunkstrom swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Man avoids the body shot from Hunkstrom.
Man takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hunkstrom lands a head kick. Man smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
 It looks like G Man has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! It's a brutal combination of punches from Hunkstrom! Man is backing up but he can't get away as Hunkstrom lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Man and ends the fight. Great knockout.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Soto is defended easily by McIlhone. McIlhone fails to land with a series of punches.
McIlhone throws a hook but Soto blocks it. Soto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McIlhone is fending him off so far but Soto persists. Nope, McIlhone circles away and we're back to standing. McIlhone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Soto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McIlhone tries a head kick but it misses.

Smith has an Americana. Akahi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Killzie using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Killzie tries to break the clinch but Pan is controlling the position. Killzie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pan has him pressed against the ropes. Killzie landing knees to the head.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Killzie stuffs the takedown attempt from Pan. Pan gets slowly back to his feet. Pan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Killzie's waist but Killzie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pan off to one side. Killzie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Saikosis Killzie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Pan.

Killzie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pan walks away with a smile on his face. Killzie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Killzie doesn't manage to clinch there - Pan circles away.

and Pan counters with a single leg into guard. Killzie didn't expect that. Pan stops Killzie from standing up. Pan wants to control from the top but Killzie keeps moving. Pan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Killzie kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Pan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Killzie, up you get! Pan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Killzie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Killzie is breathing heavily. Killzie tries to clinch up.

Killzie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Killzie has managed to get both his arms back between Pan's legs - danger averted. Killzie trying to control the position from guard on top but Pan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Peter Pan dominated that round. That's time! Killzie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Killzie but Killzie pushes him off and we're back to square one. Saikosis Killzie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pan leaves Killzie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Killzie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pan pinned against the cage. Pan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Killzie throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Pan dives in and grabs Killzie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Killzie pushes down on Pan's head and hops out. Killzie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Killzie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Good control from Pan. Killzie trying to control the hands but Pan won't let him.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Saikosis Killzie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pan misses with punches from the back. A lull in the action here.
