The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MMA swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fighters circle momentarily. MMA darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

MMA looks to land a combination but Wong avoids it well.

MMA is looking to advance position but Wong has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Wong avoids the attempt from MMA to control.
Wong is in the full mount, landing strikes.

It looks like Xxtreme MMA has been cut.
Wong is landing with some decent strikes but MMA is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Wong prevents MMA from getting the reversal.
Wong in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Xxtreme MMA will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Xxtreme MMA seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MMA slips a straight right by Wong.
MMA rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
MMA throws out a loose jab but Wong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

MMA knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wong on the ground.
