Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Dirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Steele! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Steele tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Steele has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Steele looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dirt struggling a bit here. Steele tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dirt's legs. Steele wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dirt, who protects the arm well. Dirt is trying to control Steele's posture but Steele avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Steele keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Steele looks gassed! Dirt trying to control but Steele postures up.
Dirt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Steele is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Steele is looking for a kimura here.
Dirt is looking to control Steele's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dirt avoid being mounted? Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Steele wants to free his trapped foot but Dirt is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dirt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Steele counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dirt is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Dirt looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dirt manages to get to full guard.
Dirt lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Dirt controls Steele momentarily but Steele frees himself. Dirt pushes a forearm under Steele's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Steele is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keembo Sluce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Donaldson! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sluce closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sluce trying to pass the guard but Donaldson defending well. Donaldson is defending against the submission attempts here by Sluce.
Sluce prevents Donaldson from standing back up.
Sluce wants to control but Donaldson is keeping him busy. Donaldson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Donaldson pushes Sluce off and gets back to his feet. Donaldson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Donaldson throws a right hand that Sluce ducks under and follows up with a left that Sluce also avoids with ease. Donaldson lands a nice looking body shot.
Sluce is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donaldson connects with a solid leg kick. Donaldson throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Keembo Sluce has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donaldson with a hook. A head kick misses from Donaldson. A head kick by Donaldson - that's a beauty! Sluce is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Donaldson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dino Clavette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clavette comes to the cage accompanied by Dead and Gone. Billy Ba struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ba keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clavette. Nice sprawl there from Ba as Clavette shoots in. Clavette rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ba moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ba tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Clavette connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ba is looking to clinch. Clavette throws a shot to the body.
Clavette scores with a jab. Clavette connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ba momentarily.
Ba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clavette paws at him with a jab and circles away. Clavette misses with the combination.
Clavette shoots in for a double leg but Ba sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Clavette gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ba wants to get back to full guard. Ba actively working from the bottom here. Ba is refusing to be controlled, as Clavette sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ba wants to improve his position but Clavette is controlling well.
Clavette takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ba is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Clavette scores with a couple of nice shots. Ba looks gassed! Clavette thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ba's head. Clavette wants to free his trapped foot but Ba is holding on for dear life with his legs. Clavette missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ba is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ba is trying to control but Clavette manages to pass to mount!
Ba is squirming around, avoiding Clavette's attempts to control the action. Clavette putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clavette landing strikes from the mount and Ba is in trouble! Clavette trying to control but he's not successful this time. Clavette fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Clavette dominating with strikes here. Clavette cracks Ba with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ba is rocked! Clavette has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clavette scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ba is still in real trouble! Can Clavette finish him? Clavette connects with a bit shot that sees Ba covering up! More strikes from Clavette and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Clavette is our winner by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz feints and as Tyson raises his hands in defense, Ortiz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ortiz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ortiz trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ortiz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ortiz scoring with some ground and pound. Tyson wants to stand and escape but Ortiz is having none of it. Ortiz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ortiz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ortiz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ortiz throws a strike but Tyson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Tyson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ortiz's guard. Ortiz wants to sweep but no luck.

Tyson throws a combination that misses and Ortiz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyson won't be happy with that. Ortiz scoring with punches from side control. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyson tries to get out of the position. Ortiz throws a strike aimed at the side of Tyson's head but Tyson avoids it well. Ortiz works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ortiz lands an elbow. Tyson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ortiz working the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyson being controlled for a moment. Ortiz scoring with punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joell Ortiz dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A lazy left from Tyson finds it's target. Tyson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Tyson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
