The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saleh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smart defends it nicely.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Smart.

Rasp is cranking Legrange's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Legrange! He's tightened the choke and Legrange is tapping out!

Dali shoots in for a double leg but Babu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Babu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dali looks to land a body kick but Babu moved away.
Babu clobbers Dali with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dali scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Dali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Babu's waist but Babu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dali off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Salvador Dali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dali throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looks like Salvador Dali has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Babu scores with a decent looking hook.
Dali shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Babu as he jumps to the side.
Babu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dali stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Babu! Dali is backing up but he can't get away as Babu lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Dali and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Merde comes to the cage accompanied by Mötorhead's Burner. Poturak has chosen Janičar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dzevad Poturak told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
