Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind. Mamadou has chosen Bring Em Out. as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mamadou throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mamadou throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carter tries to clinch but Mamadou moves out of range.
Carter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mamadou throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Shawn Carter has been cut.
Mamadou lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Mamadou cracks Carter with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Carter tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mamadou pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Carter is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
