The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Arloski was covering up waiting for the punch and Joe finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Arloski doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Joe advances to half guard.

Joe shoots in and bounces Arloski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Wreaver throws a right and a left that Judo avoids nicely.
Judo tries to clinch but Wreaver moves out of range.
Wreaver fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Judo.
A lazy left from Wreaver finds it's target.

It looks like Fish Judo has been cut.
Wreaver lands with a nice body punch.
Judo is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wreaver circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Judo drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wreaver follows Judo to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Haas instigates a clinch.
Haas with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Haas has hold of one of Morthens's legs. Morthens is fighting the takedown attempt but Haas gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Morthens is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Haas is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morthens tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Morthens isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Haas stacks Morthens on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Haas!

Haas has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Horrible takedown by Morthens or perhaps it was just good defense by Haas which made him look bad.
Morthens keeps the fight on the outside.
Morthens changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haas tries to avoid it but Morthens manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haas to the ground. Haas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Haas moves into range and clinches up with Morthens.

Haas gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Morthens regains guard.
Haas trying to control the position from guard on top but Morthens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Haas seems to have locked his on tight now - Morthens screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Haas, as he picks up the win!

Malfoy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Allen.

Allen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fernandez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fernandez lands the left hand.

It looks like Mike Swick has been cut.
Swick tries for a takedown but Fernandez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fernandez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swick.
Fernandez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fernandez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fernandez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck for Swick with that takedown attempt.
Pedro Fernandez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Swick.
Fernandez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Swick was well out of range. Poor timing from Fernandez.

Fernandez throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Swick stumbling backwards into the cage! Swick bounces back off the cage towards Fernandez, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Fernandez lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Fernandez celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Nikolaidis comes into the arena with Animal Collective - My Girls blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

No joy there for Tyler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tyler throws a hook but Nikolaidis avoids it easily.
Nikolaidis swings for the body but Tyler moves out of range.
Tyler throws a series of punches but Nikolaidis avoids them all with ease.
Nikolaidis misses with a wild body shot.
Tyler misses with a series of wild punches.
Nikolaidis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Some wild striking there from Nikolaidis.
Tyler connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Nikolaidis! He's out on his feet! Tyler rushes in and drops Nikolaidis with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
