On his way into the cage it seems that Michael Sewell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michael Sewell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, babalu santana! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sewell dodges the punch combination from santana.
Sewell fails with an attempt to clinch.

santana shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sewell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sewell has a closed guard, preventing santana from standing up. Sewell tries to strike from the bottom.
santana trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sewell's guard. santana gets to his feet - Sewell follows without any prompting. santana lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sewell tries to close the distance and clinch up but santana swats him away and circles back towards the center. santana dodges the punch combination from Sewell.
santana moves into the clinch. santana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. santana defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sewell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sewell has a takedown stuffed. Sewell is breathing heavily. santana bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sewell throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. santana has knee on belly and moves into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. santana stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. santana shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sewell's guard. santana decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. santana is looking to clinch but Sewell is avoiding it.
santana closes the distance and clinches. santana escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. santana wants to clinch. Sewell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. santana rushes Sewell and presses him up against the cage. santana comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! santana is looking to stand up but Sewell won't let him. santana gets to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - santana looks like he's thinking about clinching though. santana closes the distance and lands a one-two. santana shoots in and bounces Sewell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. santana stands and steps away. Sewell gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

santana tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sewell counters with a nice double leg into side control. santana won't be happy with that. santana explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! santana moves into the clinch. santana throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Nice elbow from santana. santana lands an elbow just above Sewell 's eye. santana lands an elbow inside that Sewell shrugs off. santana tries for a takedown but Sewell manages to get underhooks.
Sewell avoids a wild elbow strike from santana. santana has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sewell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. santana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for santana, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sewell throws a sloppy head kick and santana moves out of range easily. santana looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. santana wants to stand but Sewell has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. santana landing some decent shots from guard. santana stands up and waves to Sewell to follow him. santana avoids a kick to the body.
santana tries to clinch but Sewell moves out of range. santana drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. santana stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Sewell has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! santana manages to get his head free but now Sewell has transitioned to an armbar! santana grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Sewell! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! JackSon misses with a takedown attempt - Evans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. JackSon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. JackSon has a takedown stuffed. Anderson Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeSean JackSon. JackSon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice takedown defense from Evans. No joy for JackSon on that attempt. Evans misses with a series of wild punches.
JackSon tries for a takedown but Evans sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Anderson Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCowan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McCowan rushes Nunes and presses him up against the cage. McCowan lands an elbow inside that Nunes shrugs off. McCowan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nunes drops down looking for an ankle pick but McCowan pulls his leg out and moves away.
McCowan is looking to clinch. Nunes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nunes postures up.

And that's the end of the fight! Antonio Nunes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nunes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henrique shoots in for a takedown but Vitorino shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Vitorino closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Henrique to the mat! Henrique manages to get full guard. Henrique has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vitorino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Vitorino drops back, looking for a kneebar! Henrique looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Henrique looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Henrique! Vitorino is trying to control Henrique's posture but Henrique avoids it. Vitorino tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Henrique wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Henrique gets to mount! Vitorino was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vitorino is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Henrique is going olschool here, as he tries to force Vitorino to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vitorino shrugs it off. Vitorino is looking to get to half guard. Vitorino bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Vitorino drops back looking for a leg! Henrique is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Henrique manages to kick Vitorino off! Vitorino jumps back into Henrique's guard. Vitorino tries to free his leg and advance position but Henrique is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vitorino looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Vitorino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Henrique doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Vitorino is tightening it up a little... Henrique has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Henrique reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Henrique taps out! nice BJJ there by Vitorino!
