Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Young GSP (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obtuse Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young GSP had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Obtuse Angle is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Angle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Angle tries to bum rush GSP with a series of wild strikes but GSP uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A head punch on the inside from Angle fails to land.
GSP misses with a short punch on the inside.
Angle misses with a body punch.
Angle goes for a takedown attempt but GSP pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
GSP displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Angle throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Obtuse Angle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That was a close round but I would say that Young GSP will probably get the nod.

Obtuse Angle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

GSP shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
