The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruise shoots in for a takedown but Sonni shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sonni tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cruise is able to avoid easily.

Cruise clinches up against the ropes.
Cruise throws an elbow but it misses.
Sonni wants to break free but Cruise has control.
Sonni is trying to break the clinch but Cruise is controlling him.

Sonni pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gordon is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Johnson doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Gordon crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Gordon's bad books for that mishap!
