Nice sprawl there from mipantz as Wolf shoots in.

Wolf is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
mipantz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wolf avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

mipantz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wolf with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
mipantz is trying to control the action in half guard but Wolf is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

mipantz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liddle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Liddle getting side control.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Liddle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Liddle's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Jones is fighting off a takedown attempt but Liddle is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jones to the mat. Jones regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
