The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eggemeyer dodges the punch combination from Hagman.

Eggemeyer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hagman to the mat! Hagman manages to get full guard.

Eggemeyer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Eggemeyer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Eggemeyer won't allow Hagman to get back to his feet.

Randi bounces back off the cage towards Merkel, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Merkel lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Merkel celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
