Slender is looking to clinch but Brighton is avoiding it.
Brighton shoots in looking for a takedown. Slender tries to sprawl out of it but Brighton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slender manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brighton.
Slender jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Brighton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Brighton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slender defends it nicely.
King Slender has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Brighton.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slender lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Brighton crumples to the floor! Slender milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Couture lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Couture scores with a one two! Jackson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jackson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Couture to score with a decent uppercut.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Brandon Couture has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Jackson.
