The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCoy as he avoids it easily. McCoy misses with a double jab.

A jab from McCoy does it's job there. mack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCoy defends it nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from mack. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for bitty mack. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCoy misses with the combination.

McCoy closes the distance and lands a one-two. McCoy drops mack with a beautiful combination! mack stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCoy is looking for the KO!
mack is rocked! McCoy is working the combinations to good effect here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McCoy thuds a left hand into mack's body. McCoy connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent mack tumbling to the canvas! McCoy pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! mack was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wade fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Price throws a shot from downtown. Wade moves away and avoids it. Wade looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Price is fending him off so far but Wade persists. Nope, Price circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Price. No joy for Wade on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Wade. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wade looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Price is fending him off so far but Wade persists. Nope, Price circles away and we're back to standing. Wade tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Price swivels and escapes. Price tests Wade's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wade fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Price sprawls well initially but Wade persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Price tries to get to full guard but Wade has control of the leg. Price landing rabbit punches to the side of Wade's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wade connects with a nice short shot to Price's temple. Price tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Wade will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Price misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wade is working away from the top position though. Wade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Price on the ground. Wade throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wade drops an elbow to the side of Price's head. Wade blocks the strikes from Price.
Price has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wade lands with a punch from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wade fails with the takedown. Horrible takedown by Wade or perhaps it was just good defense by Price which made him look bad. Price swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polumbo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Thomson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A punch combination from Polumbo misses. Thomson moves into the clinch. Thomson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Polumbo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Polumbo misses with a straight right. Polumbo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Joey Polumbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice defenses there by Thomson. Polumbo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Thomson backs up against the cage.
Thomson takes one to the chin there. Thomson clinches. Thomson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Polumbo's efforts to push away. Polumbo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Polumbo taking a breather. Polumbo can't break the clinch.
Thomson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Polumbo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Nice body punch from Thomson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Polumbo throws an overhand right that lands on Thomson's shoulder, as Thomson tries to avoid the shot. Polumbo throws a hook to the side of Thomson's head but Thomson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

enabling Thomson to counter with a crisp jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Polumbo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Polumbo wants it to stay on the feet. Thomson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Thomson moves into range and clinches up with Polumbo. Thomson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thomson connects with a crisp jab. Thomson moves into the clinch. Thomson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Polumbo is rocked! Thomson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Thomson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oh Polumbo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Polumbo drops his hands momentarily. Thomson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Polumbo staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Polumbo doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

He catches Ali napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ali looks gassed! Ali can't do much from the bottom here. The ground and pound from Glass seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Glass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Glass controlling the position. Glass decides to stand back up. Glass steps back and let's Ali get back to his feet. Ali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Glass moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ali fails in his attempt to clinch. Glass with a lazy takedown attempt and Ali counters by clinching up. Glass has Ali pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Glass pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ali tumbling to the mat - Glass dives into Ali's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Glass works over Ali with some ground and pound from guard. Ali keeping moving, preventing Glass from controlling successfully. Glass drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Glass jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Glass slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Ali. Glass uses his free foot to push down on Ali's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ali.

It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ali regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glass stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Henderson. Jones is looking for a sweep. Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Henderson off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! amber shoots in but Obeh avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ratrick Obeh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from amber. Obeh fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. amber throws the left hand but Obeh avoids the punch easily. Obeh connects with a solid leg kick. Obeh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
amber throws a right hand that Obeh ducks under and follows up with a left that Obeh also avoids with ease. A decent looking body kick lands there for Obeh. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Obeh lands a jab to amber's midsection. amber looks gassed! amber takes a shot right to the bread basket. Obeh throws a leg kick which misses amber's front leg but catches the back leg as amber tries to avoid it. A thudding body kick lands there by Obeh!

Obeh lets loose with a powerful body kick. amber will feel that in the morning. Crunch! Obeh slams his shin into amber's torso. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Obeh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Obeh slips a straight right by amber. amber has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Obeh. amber bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. amber throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! amber works over Obeh's head and body with a nice combination. Obeh avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Obeh lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Obeh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
