Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirius Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gomez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Something in your Mouth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Cortez wants to stand but Assis has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Cortez wants to control from the top but Assis keeps moving.
Assis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cortez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Assis has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cortez is looking to defend but Assis has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cortez! Assis pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cortez taps out and this one is all over!
