3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thien Dinh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Royce Gracie! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dinh stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dinh defends it nicely. Dinh moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Gracie shoots in and drives through. Dinh sprawls well. Thien Dinh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Gracie.

They are putting on a show! Belo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jarrow tries to avoid it but Belo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jarrow to the ground. 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Gordon! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gordon swings away with a leg kick that misses. Gordon misses with a two punch combination.
Gordon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nice uppercut there from Carolla. Carolla throws a right and a left that Gordon avoids nicely. Carolla tries to land a front kick but Gordon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gordon avoids the head kick by Carolla.
Gordon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Carolla getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carolla misses with the combination.
Gordon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Carolla throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tony Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carolla lands with a nice combination. Gordon backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Tony Gordon has been cut. Carolla fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gordon on the side of the head. Gordon throws a leg kick but Carolla sees it coming and checks it nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gordon.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carolla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gordon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carolla counters with a lovely straight right hand! Carolla avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Gordon throws a head kick that misses. Gordon throws a right and a left that Carolla avoids nicely. Carolla misses with a few strikes there.
Carolla fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Carolla uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gordon.
Gordon moves out of range of the leg kick from Carolla. Gordon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Carolla counters with a straight right hand. Carolla connects with a jab. Gordon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carolla moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Carolla slips under a jab. Gordon swinging wilding here.
Carolla throws a hook to the side of Gordon's head but Gordon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordon misses with a double jab
and Carolla counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gordon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carolla. Gordon throws a head kick but Carolla moves out of range.
Gordon lands a front kick. Gordon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gordon on the wrong end of a nice jab. Carolla is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. An inside leg kick lands from Gordon. Carolla getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Carolla lands a nice looking body shot.
Carolla uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gordon has time to react. Gordon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gordon thumps Carolla with a low kick. Carolla takes a kick to the side of the head. Carolla scores with a jab to the body. Gordon looks gassed!

A low kick from Gordon is predictable there and Carolla counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Carolla misses with a wild combination.
Jab, jab by Gordon - just one landing. Gordon feints and then cracks Carolla's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carolla down. Gordon takes one on the button. No joy there for Carolla, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gordon walks into a left hand. Gordon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action! Carolla lands a left and a right that send Gordon crashing to the mat, dazed. Carolla thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carolla throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gordon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gordon closes the distance but Carolla moves to the side and Carolla counters with a lovely straight right hand! Carolla connects with a jab. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Carolla. Gordon feints and then cracks Carolla's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carolla down. A head kick misses from Gordon. Gordon closes the distance and clinches up with Carolla, looking for a takedown. Gordon pushes Carolla against the cage but Carolla circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Carolla bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Carolla lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gordon lands with a nice body kick. Carolla lands a jab. Gordon has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Carolla uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carolla throws a nice looking combination but Gordon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carolla thuds his right hand into Gordon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Carolla lands a left and a right that send Gordon crashing to the mat, dazed. Carolla thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Gordon is still on wobbly legs! Can Carolla finish him? Carolla throws a monster overhand right that drops Gordon! Carolla follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
