The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Register fails in his attempt to clinch. Karlsson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Register pinned against the cage. Register gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Karlsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Karlsson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Register knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Karlsson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Karlsson trying to control the action but Register is working from the bottom.

Pacquiao tries to bum rush St James with a series of wild strikes but St James uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pacquiao displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from St James. Pacquiao misses with a series of wild punches.

Black escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carter Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Black keeping full guard, as Carter Jr tries to pass. Black working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carter Jr.

Kreuger makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kreuger has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bell looking for a sweep. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash scores with a head kick.
Nash shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tully but Tully pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nash throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. A kick lands to the mid section there for Nash . A solid body kick from Nash . Nash throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tully tries for a takedown but Nash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nash throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nash throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tully 's head. Nash has his takedown stuffed and Tully counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tully is working for a kimura but Nash is defending it quite comfortably.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Joe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miyagi was well out of range. Poor timing from Joe. Joe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Miyagi leaves Joe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Miyagi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Joe throws and low kick but Miyagi moves out of range easily. Joe throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Joe scores a takedown into full mount! Joe looking to ground and pound but Miyagi is blocking nicely. Joe misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
