Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Waldo Cezar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hercules Rockefeller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cezar comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Psychosocial. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cezar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A right-left combo lands from Cezar. Rockefeller takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Cezar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cezar wants to clinch. Cezar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cezar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cezar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cezar wants to sweep here but Rockefeller controlling him for the moment. Rockefeller throwing strikes from guard but Cezar blocks nicely.

Hercules Rockefeller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Waldo Cezar's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Rockefeller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rockefeller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rockefeller throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Cezar wants to control but Rockefeller is having none of it. Cezar prevents Rockefeller from taking his back. Rockefeller prevents Cezar from getting the reversal. Rockefeller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cezar's face.

Rockefeller working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Cezar looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rockefeller! Submission of the night perhaps?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caswell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ramon. Ramon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Caswell throws a shot from downtown. Ramon moves away and avoids it. A combination from Caswell does no damage. Caswell throws a right and a left that both miss. No joy there for Ramon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Caswell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ramon counters with a single leg into guard. Caswell didn't expect that. Caswell tries to land a sweep but no joy. Caswell being controlled here, momentarily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Caswell is on top in guard.

Caswell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ramon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Caswell has Ramon in his guard. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ramon controlling well, preventing Caswell from escaping the position.

Caswell on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Sofa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The fight stays on the outside here - Sofa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Danga de danga de dang - Sofa scores with a four punch combination! Assman blocks a low kick nicely. Assman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jason Sofa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sofa misses with a double jab.

Sofa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

He's almost out here... but no, Assman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Assman has hold of Sofa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sofa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Assman cranks the arm and Sofa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sofa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pervo swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Pervo swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Jones clinches up against the cage. Pervo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jones or not. Pervo lands a body punch in the clinch. Jones is looking to control Pervo's arms but Pervo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the cage. Pervo tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard. Pervo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones is tying to control. Pervo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pervo closes the distance but Jones moves to the side and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Pervo didn't expect that. Pervo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones lands a couple of decent looking shots. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pervo is on top in guard.

Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pervo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
