The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardonk darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hardonk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Hardonk is looking to advance position but McTwist won't allow it. Hardonk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Todd checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Woodring lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Gary Todd has been cut. Owen Woodring seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woodring scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Todd shoots in for a takedown but Woodring shows good takedown defense.
