The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Putskie. Lydell moves into the clinch successfully.
Putskie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lydell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Some wild striking there from Lydell.
Lydell throws a right hand that Putskie ducks under and follows up with a left that Putskie also avoids with ease. Lydell tries to clinch up. Lydell fails in his attempt to clinch. Lydell tries to clinch but Putskie is having none of it. Putskie shoots in but Lydell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Putskie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lydell pushes Putskie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Putskie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Putskie is looking to take a break and control but Lydell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lydell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lydell tries to get out of the position. Lydell wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Putskie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lydell keeps working.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Putskie swats away the attempt to clinch by Lydell. Putskie seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Lydell shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Putskie is backing up but Lydell catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Putskie covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lydell Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! cyan getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Thomas Crim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crim waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract cyan. cyan ducks right into an uppercut from Crim. cyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Crim misses the shot to the body. cyan misses with a hook. Crim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. cyan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crim looks to land a right hand but cyan moved out of range. cyan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crim. Crim throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
cyan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Thomas Crim has been cut. cyan throws a looping overhand right but Crim ducks down to avoid it. cyan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crim defends it nicely. cyan digs a good hook to Crim's body.
cyan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crim but Crim pushes him off and we're back to square one. cyan slips a jab from Crim. cyan looks to land a combination but Crim avoids it well. Crim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by cyan. cyan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crim can pounce on him.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crim's guard. cyan won't allow Crim to get back to his feet. Crim is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. cyan is aware though and is defending well. cyan prevents Crim from getting back to his feet. Crim is breathing heavily. cyan throwing strikes from guard but Crim blocks nicely. cyan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. cyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Crim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. cyan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. cyan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. cyan chips away with some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! cyan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Crim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Crim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Crim scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Crim throws a combination that misses and cyan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crim's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crim wants to stand and escape but cyan is having none of it. cyan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. cyan lands a couple of digs. cyan cracks Crim with a solid left hand.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - cyan looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Crim can't hide his disappointment, as cyan celebrates the victory.

Lilke working the head and body with strikes. The referee asks Lilke politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lilke prefers to stall for the moment though. Salama is looking to reverse the position. Salama takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Salama tries to get back to half guard but can't. Salama stops Lilke from passing to mount. Lilke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lilke has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Salama fails to land with a series of punches.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Valchenko is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Igor Valchenko will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Bone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Valchenko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bone! Bone is in all sorts of trouble here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swindell throws a hook to the side of Bumin's head but Bumin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Swindell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bumin as he jumps to the side. Bumin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Swindell. Bumin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Swindell.
Swindell loads up on a big right hand but Bumin slips the punch. Bumin tries to clinch but Swindell is having none of it. Swindell throws a right hand that Bumin ducks under and follows up with a left that Bumin also avoids with ease. Swindell dives in and grabs Bumin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bumin pushes down on Swindell's head and hops out. Swindell misses with a two punch combination.

Mitrione shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reid but Reid pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mitrione dives in and grabs Reid's left leg, looking for a takedown.
