The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunham throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunham was well out of range. Poor timing from Grey. Grey tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dunham is able to avoid easily. Grey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dunham sprawls well initially but Grey persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Grey wants to work for an arm triangle but Dunham is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dunham cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That took the wind out of him momentarily. Stark misses with a two punch combination.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cookie unloads with some shots from mount but Mason bucks and avoids them well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jay Mason. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mason, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
