0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stryfer Rox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hardcore Geno! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rox tries to move into range but Geno moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Rox bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rox fails with an attempt to clinch.
A big right from Geno misses. Geno misses with a double jab.
Rox fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Geno, pushing him back against the cage. Rox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rox tries to clinch but Geno moves out of range. Rox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Geno's waist but Geno gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rox off to one side. Geno pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Geno misses with a double jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters circle momentarily. Geno darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rox shoots in and drives through. Geno sprawls well. Rox is breathing heavily. Geno moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Geno throws a jab but it's blocked by Rox.

Nice body punch from Geno. Rox takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Geno goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Geno jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Geno displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. A left lands for Geno. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rox. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Geno throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Geno lands with an uppercut that bounces Rox off the cage and back into rage. Geno throws a hook but Rox blocks it.

Geno catches Rox right on the button with a cross. Jab, jab by Geno - just one landing. Geno lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rox backs up against the cage.

Geno lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Rox is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Geno. Rox takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rox ducks under a wild hook from Geno. Geno tries to bum rush Rox with a series of wild strikes but Rox uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rox has managed to clinch.

Rox is working for takedown but Geno is calmly controlling the position for now. Rox has Geno pressed against the cage, preventing Geno from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lilja putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Wheatly in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wheatly just misses with a elbow thrown towards Lilja's brow. Wheatly gets control of Lilja's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wheatly will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Wheatly managing to control the position.
