The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salles wants to clinch up but Duffe keeps it at a distance.
Salles shoots in and drives through. Duffe sprawls well.
No joy there for Salles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Salles shoots for a takedown but Duffe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Salles is looking to clinch but Duffe is avoiding it.
Salles on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Duffe looks to land a combination but Salles avoids it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mufasa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carwing circles away quickly and effectively.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Mufasa lands a big head kick that sends Carwing tumbling to the mat! Mufasa takes a step backwards and waves Carwing back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Shane Carwing has been cut.

Carwing closes the distance and clinches.
Mufasa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Carwing just stands there and leans against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carwing scores with a hook to the body.
Carwing lands a body shot in the clinch.

Carwing manages to break the clinch.
Carwing tries to clinch up.
Carwing throws an overhand right that lands on Mufasa's shoulder, as Mufasa tries to avoid the shot.

Carwing takes the fight into the clinch.
Carwing pushes Mufasa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mufasa tries a body shot but Carwing blocks it.
Carwing on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Mufasa tries to break free but Carwing pushes him back against the cage.

Carwing escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

No luck for Carwing with that takedown attempt.
Mufasa slaps away a takedown attempt from Carwing, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Leon Mufasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mufasa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mufasa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mufasa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

That has opened up Shane Carwing's cut even more.
Leon Mufasa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mufasa throws a right hand that Carwing ducks under and follows up with a left that Carwing also avoids with ease.
Mufasa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Mufasa cracks Carwing with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mufasa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Carwing to stand back up!
Carwing looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Mufasa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Carwing forces Mufasa back against the cage and clinches.
Mufasa working hard to break the clinch.
Carwing is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mufasa is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Carwing.
Mufasa throws an elbow but it misses.
Carwing works on Mufasa's body with a couple of short punches.
A short body shot lands from Carwing as the two fighters clinch.
Carwing tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mufasa's elbow.
Mufasa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carwing walks away with a smile on his face. Mufasa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A cross from Mufasa lands.

The cut above Shane Carwing's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Carwing swings for the body but Mufasa moves out of range.

Carwing clinches up with Mufasa and pushes him back against the cage.

Carwing breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Mufasa does no damage.

Carwing feints and as Mufasa raises his hands in defense, Carwing changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carwing accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mufasa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carwing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mufasa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Carwing postures up and lands a big shot to Mufasa's brow.

Mufasa pushes Carwing off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Carwing takes the fight into the clinch.

Carwing pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Carwing looks for a takedown but Mufasa sprawls well.
Mufasa cracks Carwing with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mufasa stalks Carwing and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carwing's face. Carwing staggers backwards, shaken.

Shane Carwing's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Carwing shoots in and drives through. Mufasa sprawls well.
Carwing gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Shane Carwing's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ingrahm is controlling the pace.
Ingrahm trying to mount his opponent but Nascimento defends it.

Nascimento is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nascimento wants to stand and escape but Ingrahm is having none of it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
