The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milstone tries to close the distance and clinch but Schnitz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Milstone tries to clinch there but Schnitz circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Schnitz. No joy for Milstone on that attempt. Schnitz misses with a takedown and Milstone counters with a nice double leg into side control. Schnitz won't be happy with that. Milstone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Milstone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Milstone is trying to get an arm triangle but Schnitz is defending well.

And that's the end of the fight! Luke Milstone showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Milstone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Avit throws out the jab. Avit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trent avoids it really well and circles away. Avit keeps the fight on the outside. Trent with a lazy takedown attempt and Avit counters with a stiff right hand. Avit punishes Trent's body with a nice straight punch. Trent drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Avit moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ben Avit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Avit stuffs the takedown attempt from Trent. Trent gets slowly back to his feet. Avit misses with the combination.
Trent shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Trent is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Avit works his way to full guard. Good work.

Avit lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Trent hang on? Trent looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Avit working for a guillotine from mount but Trent is in no mood to give up. Trent tries to reverse the position but Avit maintains control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trent is squirming around, avoiding Avit's attempts to control the action. Avit is trying to control here but Trent has managed to regain half guard.
Avit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Trent doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Avit. Avit trying to control from half guard but Trent is working away. Trent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Avit throwing shots but Trent is blocking nicely. Trent wants to stand back up but Avit manages to pass into side control.
Avit has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Trent is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Avit yanks on the arm and Trent is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Avit.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patterson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Caveman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Caveman missing with a left hand there. Patterson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Caveman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Caveman throws a nice looking combination but Patterson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Patterson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Caveman as he jumps to the side. Patterson is looking to clinch but Caveman is avoiding it.
Caveman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Caveman lands a big right hand that sends Patterson crashing to the mat! Caveman stays standing though and waves Patterson back to his feet!
It looks like Joe Patterson has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Patterson. Patterson looks gassed! Patterson walks straight into a right hand from Caveman - that's dropped him! Caveman jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Patterson from any more punishment! Patterson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Hayes crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Gould finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machin cracks DAWSON with a good jab. DAWSON shoots in but Machin avoids the takedown attempt easily. DAWSON could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. DAWSON feints and then cracks Machin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Machin down. Machin connects with the punch. Machin fails with the takedown and DAWSON counters with a nice double leg into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! DAWSON avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
DAWSON wants to control from the top but Machin keeps moving. Machin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machin throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Machin keeping moving, preventing DAWSON from controlling successfully. DAWSON sitting in guard here, content to control. Machin pulls DAWSON in close to prevent any damage. Machin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that even DAWSON will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Machin takes a swing at DAWSON's ribcage but misses. Machin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. DAWSON defends it nicely. Machin clinches but DAWSON breaks the clinch and DAWSON counters with a nice leg kick. DAWSON tries to clinch there but Machin circles away.
Machin wants to land a leg kick but DAWSON is out of range. Machin stuffs the takedown. No luck for DAWSON with that takedown attempt. DAWSON throws a head kick that misses. Machin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
