The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Giant misses the jab. dasterdly shoots in looking for a takedown. The Giant tries to sprawl out of it but dasterdly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Giant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The Giant jabs at dasterdly's body. The Giant connects with a jab. A combination from The Giant does no damage. The Giant looks to land a right hand but dasterdly moved out of range. Andre The Giant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Giant shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The Giant is looking for a kimura but dasterdly is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for The Giant to get the leverage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. The Giant working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on dasterdly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The Giant landing a few strikes. The Giant is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but dasterdly is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The Giant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The strikes coming from The Giant are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

This has been an exciting period of action! The Giant tries to move into full mount but can't pass dasterdly's legs. The Giant has hold of dasterdly's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! dasterdly tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - The Giant cranks the arm and dasterdly screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from dasterdly, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Zan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Well, if Zan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Zan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Suh looks like he's trying to stand up.

Zan wants to control the pace but Suh is squirming around nicely. Zan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Suh's face.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Parker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Parker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rosato really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Parker throws some wild stikes that Rosato manages to avoid easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rosato can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davies throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thoupos tries to clinch but Davies moves away and Davies counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thoupos thinking. Thoupos throws a quick inside leg kick. Davies avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Davies throws a right and a left that both miss. Thoupos tries to clinch but fails miserably and Davies counters with a left to the body. Davies misses with a leg kick. Davies throws a series of strikes that have Thoupos backpedaling.

Davies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thoupos circles away quickly and effectively. Davies throws a series of strikes that have Thoupos backpedaling.
Davies moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Davies connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Thoupos throws a hook to the side of Davies's head but Davies sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Davies lunges at Thoupos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thoupos's hand. Davies steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thoupos. Thoupos pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Davies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thoupos circles away quickly and effectively. Thoupos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davies sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Thoupos throws a nice inside leg kick. Thoupos has his takedown stuffed and Davies connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Thoupos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davies throws a quick inside leg kick. Davies is working the combinations to good effect here. Thoupos stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Davies. Thoupos throws a hook but Davies blocks it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davies cracks Thoupos with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Davies listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Evan Davies is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Thoupos takes one to the side of the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dibi dives in and grabs Preston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Preston pushes down on Dibi's head and hops out. Dibi looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Dibi looks for a takedown but Preston sprawls well. Preston throws a shot to the body.
Preston with a hook. A left lands for Preston. Preston connects with the punch. A shot to de liver by Preston. Beautiful body shot. Preston scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dibi doesn't seem bothered though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Preston connects with a jab. Preston punishes Dibi's body with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Preston fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Preston lands with a hook. Dibi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Preston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dibi's guard. Dibi can't keep his opponent in guard - Preston advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Preston frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Preston looking for a guillotine from mount but Dibi is having none of it. Preston looking to ground and pound but Dibi is blocking nicely. Preston has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Preston has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Dibi is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Janda lands but Jesus takes it in his stride. Jesus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Janda throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Janda lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Lucifer Jesus has been cut. Janda slips under a jab. Janda steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jesus. A slapping body kick lands there for Janda. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Janda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jesus. That did some damage! Nice body punch from Janda. Jesus looks gassed! Janda swings for the body but Jesus moves out of range.
Janda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Janda lands a left and a right that sends Jesus crashing to the canvas! Janda dives into mount looking to finish!
